The place was clean had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and grilling. The covered porch with fans was awesome. Also was really nice to have a pack and play set up for our daughter.

This house was incredible. It was extremely clean and very welcoming. I felt like I was a family member staying over for a visit. We had a wonderful experience and we would recommend this house 100 times over!

Terrific craftsman style house near the bay. Very clean, ample sheets & towels, and well stocked kitchen utensils & appliances.Stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time.One note, bring an HDMI adapter for your phone to connect to the living room TV to watch your favorite apps.

Wedding Weekend

A few friends and I had a wedding nearby. We opted to stay here rather than separate hotel rooms, and take advantage of the location. We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We would definitely stay again!

This property and the area exceeded our expectations. The cottage appears to be recently updated or refinished. It was very clean and appropriately furnished. The air conditioning worked well on 90 degree days with high humidity. The street was private and quiet. The only down side… the beds and bedding were not comfortable (could use an upgrade). The location is excellent as well. We would stay here again.

Lovely gem near the Hamptons

A perfect craftsman-style beach cottage with easy driving distance to Dune Road, beaches, and amenities nearby. Better than many beach cottages, the central air was vital during a substantial heat wave. Once the heat broke, the screened porch was a great way to relax after a full day at the beach. Booking was easy, communication very smooth. Lovely spot, we'll be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely home near the bay. The house was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — we especially loved the great outdoor shower. The surrounding area was great for biking, and we played pickleball at Red Creek Park just three miles away — eight courts and it was empty when we went at noon. Both the nearby ocean beach and Roger’s Beach in Westhampton were convenient and beautiful. The location is close to Quogue and Westhampton. Alison, the owner, was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

So glad you enjoyed the home! Come again! Google has implemented a policy to only use photos taken on public thoroughfares for Street View. Therefore, they can only take pictures from the main road.

Super Getaway for Families

The house was impeccably clean, helpfully well furnished, easy access from the car, and close to beaches. We loved the screened in porch in particular. If it hadn't rained as much we would have used the beautiful back patio and grill too! For a three year old, we made use of the pack n play in the closet off the bathroom - oh yes, that's where we created an extra "bedroom" and it was just perfect. Helpful hint: if you still rely on naps for little ones, come with materials to create some makeshift blackout window coverings where there weren't curtains. We would rent this house again and recommend it to our friends. It made our getaway so comfortable and easy.

Unmet expectations

When arriving at the property patio door was wide open. It appeared people had just left a children's birthday party. Decorations still up, trash and crumbs on the floor and countertops. Beds unmade. Urine still in toilets. Place was obviously not cleaned. Took over 2 hrs before we could actually use the house. The next morning the host texted me and informed me we’d have to check out a day early because they double booked the property and refused to move the other guest. So I spent a majority of my short vacation arguing with host and vrbo. Refunded us a night but refused to refund the cleaning fee.

Victoria: We later found out the housekeeper was in the hospital with COVID. The home was cleaned as soon as humanly possible. You know very well you booked and paid for only two nights, also confirmed by VRBO. As shared, I would have accommodated you for an additional night, but another guest was coming in. For waiting for the cleaning, you were compensated by being giving a refund for an entire night, which is more than simply a cleaning fee. Having a family of guests refuse to leave the property is something we do not typically deal with. This is evident, as in 9 years yours is the only poor review.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison’s place. Her home accommodated my father’s limited mobility with a first floor bedroom and bathroom. (There are just a few steps into the home.) The house was meticulously cleaned. The upstairs bathroom was large and well appointed. This is the perfect spot for a young family as there’s a bay side beach just a few blocks away. It was the perfect quiet, serene place to get away during our extended family vacation Thank you, Alison, for a relaxing and easy stay!

Wonderful house for families

We had a great stay at the house as a party of six, which included two young kids. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Awesome screen porch for meals. Highly recommend getting a pizza from Scotto’s Pork Store—delicious! Alison was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

Lovely home

This was a lovely home, a summer house redone by the owners in the Craftsman style. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the a/c was great and the screened-in porch was the best. We very much enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was that the owner supplied no bars of soap; we had to run to the store for that. For the price of the rental, I would have expected soap, as a hotel would have provided.

Beautiful Home

We had a great weekend stay. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, the property was spotless and is a great location. If we are ever in the area again we will absolutely hope to stay here again.
