Un ritiro a nord a soli 90 minuti da Minneapolis. Situato sul bellissimo lago di sabbia a Moose Lake, MN. Ampio cortile con vista sul lago. Il lago è di oltre 500 ettari con ottima pesca e persino un campo da golf dove è possibile portare la barca. Perfetto per famiglie, nuoto e nautica. Guardare il tramonto dal molo è incredibile. Porta i tuoi ATV o biciclette e goditi miglia e miglia di piste. Ora stiamo offrendo il noleggio di pontoni.

If you are viewing this cabin it has great lake views and has a nice dock it cabin itself was great but you have to bring everything with you no towels and cooking pans are a minimum but it was a good stay on the lake

Rustic Cabin on a nice lake. Cabin could use a thorough cleaning. Windows were very dirty many cobwebs. Also on fixtures. Be nice to make it more secure by adding proper outside doors and one or two doors on bedrooms be great also. Fire pit needs to be dug out, full of ashes. Lake is very low, lots of weeds even at the end of the dock, made fishing difficult.

Please read the fine print. This is only a cabin! It is mostly clean BUT there is No air conditioning, no towels of any kind, no soap of any kind. Cook wear is pretty poor. The lake water is low and it is difficult to get to the dock. The view is amazing The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. Bring your own stuff and you’ll be fine. The sun set is gorgeous.

Four days by the water

We loved our stay. The cabin is very rustic and needs an update but the atmosphere is sublime. Quiet, rustic, romantic and the views are wonderful.

Had a great stay. Outside area was a decent size and where we spent most of our time. House definitely needs a few updates/fixes but it works as a place to sleep. Would of been nice to have a dehumidifier or something because it was very damp smelling. Atv trails were very close so that was nice.

Don’t let the Reviews Make up your mind

We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again.

Everything we were looking for.

Kacee was great with everything as always! Very helpful with prompt responses! Let us check in early with everything clean and ready to go! Pontoon ran great and had some great fishing including a couple fish fries and some to take home! Just what the we were looking for! See you next year!

Good family cabin

We had a great time. The cabin was a great place for our family to stay and enjoy the lake, camp fires and area. Owner was responsive and friendly. Basics provided, but no extras. Would have liked to have some water toys, like kayaks available. No A/C, which was ok, but can get warm during the day. Overall good experience.

Quiet Getaway

Rustic cabin in the woods. What we remember lake cabins were like when we were young. Quiet nights listening to loons sing and during the day fishing from the dock. No frills, but yet everything you need. A getaway from the hustle and bustle and technology of todays busy lifestyle. Kaylee was great to work with…responded to any questions we had quickly. If looking to unwind would recommend!

Over priced cabin on Sand Lake

Trash can full from previous occupants , had to buy my own towels and toilet paper as they weren’t provided, could not take a bath as stopper didn’t work, no kitchen sink strainer, carpet and furniture dirty, windows filthy, poor lighting, poor locks on doors, not the view advertised. Do not recommend!!!!

Nice level lot, Couldn't see out the windows or doors they were so dirty & full of spider webs. Back door was broken, Carpet is dirty & stained, Couch has little black biting bugs in it, Steps up to the bathroom/bedrooms are illegal the bottom step is 2 inches taller than the others, jammed my knee coming down the first time, Charcoal grill needs to be thrown away it's broken, deck and picnic table need a good powerwash, retaining wall is rotted and falling down.

Sunsets

Honestly, I would not stay there again. The only plus was the kitchen. It had about everything you would need. Entryway was dirty/cluttered. Carpets in living room had large stains. The twin bed just had mattress cover & quilt…no sheets. The outdoor Adirondack chairs were so dirty you did not want to use them. I understand it is just a cabin but you expect it to be clean….. inside and outside around the deck area. Had no problems but isn’t very secure. You only have a storm door to lock. No solid type door there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the loons. Seeing the beautiful sunsets and sitting by the fire was so nice. With a little cleanup it would be a great place to visit.

A quaint little cabin

If you’re looking for a nice affordable cabin (not lake home) for your family vacation, this is your place! I’ll admit, I was a little unsure of what we’d walk into when looking at the last few reviews from last year. Those renters were off their rockers! This is by no means a lake house, so don’t have those kinds of expectations. The neighbor is so safe, yes there is only a screen door coming in off the backside, but it’s really no different than sleeping in a tent when camping. Regarding the “dusty windows” from what I could tell, they were clean, they just have condensation fog in them from being either a little older or not top quality. The cabin was clean. We had no problems letting our toddler lay and play on the floor. We didn’t note any of the stains other guests had mentioned. The steps are uneven like people mentioned, but again, it’s a cute, rustic old cabin. It completely served our purpose and surpassed our expectations. When I had questions for the owner, she was SO quick to respond. Everything functioned as we would have expected. We will 100% stay here again if we come up again. :)

Great potential! But honestly it's the equivalent of staying at a 2 Star motel with a private dock. Gotta give credit where credit is due: It does serve its function: a cabin on the lake with a private dock.Pros: Beautiful view, private dock (caught 30 fish in 2.5 days), like new toilet, sink, and fridge, strong wifi, and fun rustic cabin feel.Cons: The cabin is run down and the actual structure is tilting/leaning. No smoke or carbon monoxide detectors. Very musty, dusty, and lots of cob webs. No AC and provided fans don't help much. The two bedrooms are not private and the floors rumble whenever the toilet is flushed. Back door is a screen door only with a weak lock (can easily be pulled open). The dock is super fun but always sways (a lot) when walking on it (to the point where it can be dizzying). On then last night mom did not get any sleep due to sounds in the floorboards and walls (could've been many things).I hate to sound so negative, but it would've been helpful had I known these details prior to booking. It was a special bday fishing trip (drove 1500 miles from WY) for my mom, and I was looking for something a little nicer to treat her to.With all that said, we did make the best of it, and ultimately enjoyed our stay as best we could (catching the 30 fish helped compensate for all the negatives).

Terrible place to stay - please remove from VRBO!!!

This was the worst VRBO/rental we have ever reserved. The state of disrepair and lack of maintenance was horrendous. The security of the cabin was non-existent as there was no lock on the flimsy back door. All the issues we experienced are too numerous to list, but here are a few of them: 1. Missing bedsheets & blankets. The ones that were available were ripped and seemed dirty. 2. Cobwebs and stains on carpet throughout the cabin. 3.Tub didn't drain and mold/scum on shower liner. 4. Windows so dirty we couldn't see clearly to the lake. 5.Campfire chairs broken and moldy. 6. Broken window pane and a missing one in bathroom. 7. Horrible, almost unusable cooking pans. 8. Rusty and dirty freezer. 9.Cabin smelled awful after we removed the over-whelming room freshener. The pictures misrepresent how bad the cabin really is and not safe or healthy to rent. It should be demolished and removed from the VRBO listing! So very disappointing and we felt taken advantage of on this rental.

Beautiful views, Quiet Lake, Wasn't clean

This property had the most beautiful views and had a very nice lot. It was really only a 2 bedroom which was fine for our family. The bedrooms did not have doors to them though. It was so quiet and we were surprised that there were not many boats on the lake. We had so much fun fishing out by the dock and we rented a Pontoon boat for only $100 at the Sand Resort that was very close by. We also made S'more's at the fire pit. At night we played board games at the kitchen table. This is the part that I kept thinking, "You get what you pay for!" The price of this rental is very low but I would rather pay a cleaning lady to come in to make sure that everything is clean because the cabin was very dirty. I spent the first hour of my trip cleaning the kitchen, refrigerator and bathroom. The toilet was actually black inside until I cleaned it. I tried to vacuum but the vacuum did not work well. The floors really needed to be cleaned. I specifically asked if the bedding had been washed because after seeing how dirty everything was, I didn't have much confidence that they had. I was told that the bedding had been washed but when going to bed we had to pick off long black hairs that were on the sheets. I am thinking that maybe they washed them at the Laundromat and the washer or dryer wasn't clean????? My family had a great time at this cabin but because of how dirty everything was, it grossed me out.

I'm sorry that you did not find the cabin clean when you arrived. I wish you would have let me know when I came over to see if you had any questions. I gladly would have had someone come in and take care of any issues. I will be talking to our cleaning gal and will be making sure your areas of concern are addressed and taken care of. I'm glad you enjoyed the views and the outdoors.

Came in for a wedding fr Canada. Somehow I missed the note that towels were not provided. With four adults needing showers etc, we were in a bind. Kaycee was very good about going out of her way and bringing us some. Good lesson on reading what is and what isn’t provided. Thx for a scenic stay!

Cozy & Charming

Our week here has been great. The lake house is cozy, the lake, property, and town charming. Friendly, helpful, and generous people everywhere (including our host). This is among the best Northern MN has to offer. Can't wait to do it all again next year!

It was perfect. Several steps to climb for bathroom and bedrooms. No can opener...other than that, it was perfect!! Would recommend!!
