Nice-ish, modern house that matches the photos, but poor communication and overlooked details made this a stay we won’t repeat.Two weeks out, our plans changed. We knew we were past the refund deadline but asked if the host would refund our last night or shift the trip a day. He said he had no access to make changes and would "check with his team." Four messages later, still nothing. When he finally answered: we could leave early, no refund. Yet when the next guests canceled, he offered us a discount to stay longer. So changes were possible after all. “Checking with my team” became a running joke in our group.Early check-in is advertised and no one stayed the night before us, but we heard nothing, even after reaching out. Entry details came only after our check-in time passed and we chased them down.The hot tub had a layer of dirt in it and there was hair in the shower head. The touted foosball table had no foosballs, just a golf ball. Neither ceiling fan worked right. When we reported it, he asked if we’d tried the wall switches. We had, because we're not idiots. He’d "check with his team," which by then we knew meant we’d never hear back. We didn’t. No tissues anywhere, either, so bring your own kleenex boxes.Checkout required starting laundry and emptying every trash can.Nice house, but we won’t be back.
