Cozy stay. The location is actually 15 miles west of Hessel which put us in a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful property with windows capitalizing on the scenery and travel to Mackinaw City which is only 19 miles away. Great family, individual or couples getaway.

Great place. Great location. We will be back. If you are wanting to disconnect and reset i couldn't think of a better place. The house is great. I have not one negative thing to stay.

We had a great time! We did find some garbage under the bed from the previous guest which we picked up but other then that it was good. The only comment is that my husband uses a cpap and there was only one room we could sleep in due to the limited plug ins in the bedrooms.

It's a perfect home for your family! Even better than the pictures show. Beautiful view...can see the bridge too! Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to bring our dog, and she loved it too. Easy to get around the area. Liked being in a quiet peaceful setting, yet close to attractions. Bring bug spray if you are coming during mosquito season, as they were out and biting. The midges were there too, but not bad. Came and went. Loved seeing the family pictures on the walls. Felt like we were hanging with their family too. Very cute place, you won't be disappointed!

The house right on the shores of Lake Huron worked great for our family of 5. The weather was raining and foggy and the views were still good. Location was great to able to explore Mackinac Island and Sault Ste Marie. Would absolutely stay again.

From the moment you walk in, you are transcended into another world, nautical essence meets cabin charm. The scent is fresh and oh so welcoming. The view is AMAZING - absolutely breath taking. Plenty of room for everyone. The coffee pot could use a plastic reusable strainer and need more ice cube trays. Other than that this place has everything you could need. Bring your own kleenex and insect spray. We were there during midge season and they were terrible -so no campfire or eating outside. They don't bite, just annoying - a relative of the mosquito.

Great location for our family vacation! The cabin was plenty big enough for our family and the view is amazing! We especially enjoyed the bird watching! My only comment would be things weren’t super clean upon our arrival - mainly kitchen items (ie. coffee pot) and the living room floor had a decent amount of dog hair all over.

Brought my father, son, friend, and my lab Kaia up to the UP for an opening weekend of waterfowl hunting. The house was beautiful, but the view was amazing. Very easy processes, everything was available that we needed to enjoy. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back again!!!
