I absolutely loved this place!! I will definitely be staying here as much as I can. Greg was amazing to interact with, the neighborhood is amazing and it’s a short walk to downtown St. Aug.

We enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It was also very well located only a few minutes away from the city center. Greg was very responsive and friendly and would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

This studio was just right in every sense, especially how clean it was. The indoor space allowed privacy and having parking onsite for up to 3 was surprising. The convenience of walking can not be overstated - literally within 15 min. of nearly everything we did. Greg is a top notch host - gracious and welcoming.

We loved the house and the fenced yard for our dog. It was also perfectly located. We could walk anywhere and either direction was either a marina or lovely houses with beautiful architecture.

We had a wonderful stay at Greg’s Historic Recording Studio. The place is seriously cool and has such a fun, unique vibe. If you love music, great decor, and a stay with personality, this place rocks!We especially loved the jukebox, the instruments, the artwork, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It felt comfortable, creative, and unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. We were also so grateful we could bring our dog, PJ, which made the getaway even more special.The location was fantastic, close to so many great spots in St. Augustine. Greg was a great host, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable, music-filled, and pet-friendly stay.

The recording studio was a great place to stay, and we'll try to stay here again when we come back to St. Augustine. Greg (the host) was excellent about communicating, check-in and check-out were easy, the location was good, and the studio itself was clean, comfortable, interesting, and stylishly decorated. My one suggestion would be to update the amenities listing: Expedia says the studio includes laundry facilities, but when we checked in we found a sign saying that the washer/dryer were for housekeeping use only (not for guests). It turned out to be no problem for us, but it could have been if we'd packed/planned differently.

On the plus side: the music studio history is cool, the house fun and quirky with the angles and memorabilia. We loved the jukebox and party lights! The location is fantastic with very easy walking distance to downtown and a cute breakfast place by the water. On the minus side: saying the house has a pool is a stretch (it’s more like a peeling kiddie pool filled with standing water). Also, since it was a studio, there are limited windows so it’s very dark inside. Overall, still we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay. Very unique place. Upon booking we did not know this was a duplex attached to the back of the owner's house. We soon found out when we got our check in instructions. I was a bit nervous since we had our toddlers and pet. Everything worked out just fine. The owners assured us they could not hear us. The decor and uniqueness was very fun. The jukebox was a hit. The cocktail pool was nice. The area was good. Very close to downtown, we did not walk though. Backyard was great letting our pets go potty, we just had to watch as part of the fence was knocked down. It still did not affect our privacy. The only thing that was a very mild issue was the plumbing in the shower. We often had to turn it off in the middle of the shower so the water could go down. Old pipes, old home problems. It's not backed up, just needs a minute. This was also our first time dealing with VRBO's rule of paying per person vs you pay for the house and the time you're there. We booked and already paid for the house, 2 people at the time. Our two toddlers ended up having to come and we had to pay additional fees through VRBO even though we were under capacity for the home and did not book through VRBO. The owners were very understanding of this plan change though. This was a VRBO rule for this property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it served its' purpose of being, "home away from home". Owner is very helpful and very good at communicating with you. Enjoy your stay!

Super fun rental! If you are looking for not your average rental this is it! The history of the property is cool! We met the host and he was very nice and had lots of recommendations for the area. Very close to everything on foot.
