House was a perfect fit for our 2 families with teenagers. Plenty of beach equipment, pool/spa was a great way to cap off a busy day. Would book again. Richard was a great host, very responsive.

Overall great property. Fun for our family. Plenty of space. Plenty of bikes(9 to be exact) beach toys,beach chairs,beach umbrellas ect. Pool table was great..Kitchen is well stocked. Pool and hot tub were great while they worked.. unfortunately stopped working our last three days and was unable to be fixed before checkout .Host is very responsive and seems willing to help when possible. Lots to love with this place but there is definitely room for improvement. There have been some upgrades/updates which was nice but just don’t expect perfection. Pictures posted of property are a mix of new and old. Most will be pleasantly surprised that the tv in front room is much larger and the couch more comfortable than the leather one pictured. Host Richard was very understanding with our comments about things that need improvement and plans on making those improvements.. He was also able to accommodate an early check in and late check out which was great. We would definitely like to stay again and hope to in the near future.

Great trip to Kauai

The house was very nice, there was plenty of room for four couples to relax and enjoy the property. Plenty of outside seating, the hot tub was wonderful. We enjoyed making meals in the spacious kitchen as a group. Easy to find, beautiful area, prefect for exploring the northern coast.

The property was great as was the pool. We had 6 total with kids and all had space and never felt cramped. Home was clean and in good shape. Host was awesome to work with. Perfect for a stay in Princeville

Family Vacation

This was our first time visiting Kauai. The home was perfect for our morning breakfast and end of day spa relaxation. Beautiful home with lots of room for all of us to be very comfortable. We enjoyed very much.

Very nice property. We stayed with six people and had plenty of room for everyone. It was nice that they had things to use at the beach and plenty of things that you would use at home. Would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing Princeville property

Took my family on an amazing trip to Kauai and stayed at Kalihiwai. Photos are very accurate an in an amazing development right on the Makai Princeville Golf course. My grandchildren absolutely loved the pool and spa. Nearby hiking and beautiful beaches are also close. Close to Hanalei. We will definitely consider a return visit.

Great place for a group!

Very comfortable place for our family whose ages ranged from 9 to 71. Plenty of room inside and outside in beautiful surroundings. Good places to be together and private spaces for those needing peace and quiet. Excellent communication with the owner who left fruit and treats for our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. GREAT beds, 31/2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, all made for an amazing vacation. Thank you Sue, we cannot wait to go back!

Relaxing Vacation

Our family had a great week vacation. Well kept home with great landscaping and pool/hot tub, all the beach supplies included, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels and bedding in the rooms. We had a chance to relax and enjoy each other while watching the rain and the golfers. Thanks Sue!

This property was everything we could have asked for. Sue really added such a personal touch for our group. She even had someone deliver us some ice cream and coffee on one of our days. I would stay here again anytime!

Pool was the biggest disappointment - cold and we could not get the it to heat up- Hot tub was colder then the pool. We will never rent out this house again specifically for the pool and AC. The AC were all window units- rooms were loud and we were told to turn off every time we left the house - which made the house hot a humid for the first couple of hours we were home. Very nice host! He was the best but I would not stay at this house again.

Thank you for writing the review. Richard has sent instructions on how operate the hot tub and amenities before you arrived. Richard has checked with you during your stay and did not receive any response from you or your party. We would have been more than to address any of your concerns as we do have local staff but it was not the case. As for the noise concerns princeville area is one the quietest neighborhoods in the island. As you can see with past reviews that noise and hot tub was never a concern Before every arrival Richard checks all AC, other things around the property to ensure the guest has a pleasant stay. He did test the AC and noticed that the place gets cooled about 1 hour with the fans on. We hope you give us another opportunity to work with you with an open communication. Thank you again

Perfect for our trip to Kauai

Everything about this home was perfect. Owner/Host/Property Manager communication, location, amenities. They even provided my "special request" and decorated the home for my mom's birthday. This will be my spot every time I return to Kauai.
