Summary:

Fantastic Beach cottage, has been completely modernized but we kept the old beach charm. New everything. Right across the street is the Atlantic ocean. We have all beach essentials, out door lounge furniture, Bikes, BBQ, Fire Pit, Screened in porch, Fenced in yard with out door shower. Pet friendly.You will love it here. T.V's in every room. 5 minute drive to Historic downtown St Augustine. Fabulous restaurants, music and shopping.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay; very homey. Stayed with my partner for a week and didn’t have any issues at all. Definitely recommend and will probably be coming back!!

The property was somewhat as described but had a few issues (minor except for one) while we were there that dampened our experience. The property manager was responsive, the beds comfortable and the property is well equipped for longer visits.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was very clean and organized. Everything was labeled including light switches! There were beach toys and chairs as well. Overall, a very good experience and would definitely book here again!

Showed up, it was very clean, the property was really nice and the location is great. You can hear the waves from the ocean at night, and the neighbors were calm and kept to themselves. Decently close to everything, really close to a decent number of beaches. Definitely will consider this place again for my next stay in the area.

Pros- It was super clean and an overall nice place. The guest bedroom and pull out bed were comfortable. It had good water pressure. The outside shower was great. The AC worked well. It was close to everything we wanted to do. If you are walking without much and don’t have a wagon, you can get to the beach in 5 minutes. Having the garage was very nice, and they had some chairs and beach things in there. They had plenty of beach towels, washing detergent, and toilet paper. The washer/dryer and laundry room was so nice. The TVs were easy to use and get to our streaming platforms. Cons- The road is super busy, so it made it hard to walk across. Cars would sometimes stop for us. With the 5 of us, we had a wagon and a lot to take. We walked one day the other way, and it took over 10 minutes. At one point, there was no sidewalk. We ended up driving there everyday. It was a public access area and was very busy. The grill ended up not working, and we had all the food ready for dinner. There’s not much storage for food, and we eat in a lot. We used a cart in the laundry room for food. The hall bath was clogged from day one, so my kids were standing in water while they showered. The master bed wasn’t that comfortable, and my husband rolled to the center all the time. Not enough trash bags or paper towels were left, so we had to get trash bags. If I had very young kids, I would not want to stay here because of the busy road.

The location and home is great, but with a few caveats. It's a very small 2BR / 2BA, so storage - especially kitchen storage for pantry goods - is pretty non-existent. If you're not big into cooking, you'll be fine, but amateur chefs should be aware of the limited cookware and staples (spices, herbs, oils, stock condiments, etc.) There are 2 saucepans, a pasta pot a stockpot and 2 skillets - 1 x 8" and 1 x 12". Both are cheap, (Tfal,) badly worn, scratched. We pulled the shelving unit out of the laundry room for pantry items. However, saucepans are All-Clad, so that's nice. House-knives can barely cut butter, so bring your own. (Literally could not cut a lemon in half.)CLEANLINESS: First night bedtime revealed blood stains & hair in the master bed. We luckily weren't using the 2nd bedroom and could strip the sheet from that bed, (which wasn't stain-free either... gross.) However, bathrooms, floors and kitchen were very clean.AMENITIES: 1970's gas station toilet paper is what's provided. Bring soft stuff if that's important to you. Kitchen towels are limited. Grill is on its last legs and lacks accessories, but still works. Outdoor shower & hoses are super useful for washing off beach sand before entering. Cheap vacuum provided.LOCATION: Beach access is top notch. Also easy access to major grocery, top fish markets and bike/surf shops. Boat rentals also very nearby. Parking is awesome and there's a semi-gated backyard for doggos if they're not prone to running away.

The property was great. The fenced in yard was great for the pets. The appliances worked well and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the exit signs and the grab bars were a help for my elderly mother. Thank you!

Very nice home! Perfect for friends or family traveling to St. Augustine. The public beach access is a short stroll across the street and over about a block. Great location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Augustine without being too far. Really loved it!
