The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is just a few miles away from downtown Flagstaff. It was clean and bright. We drove to the Grand Canyon, which is about 1.5 hours away from the house. We also made a trip to Winslow. The owner was very responsive; most of my questions surrounded using the TV and soundbar set up and one about using the thermostat. I highly recommend this VRBO location.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental! The house was nicely updated, clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals during our visit. The beds were comfortable, and we felt right at home. The host was fantastic with communication—responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. We also appreciated that the property was dog-friendly and that a couple of bikes were available to ride around the area. The nearby lake was nice to walk around, but you had to watch where you stepped due to all the duck droppings. We had one minor issue during our stay. We noticed ants in the bathrooms, but after applying the ant spray that was available, they disappeared and weren't a problem afterward (host was informed and said he would take care of the problem). For those that like to hang your clothes in the closet, there were no hangars to do so, but you can easily get some at the store 10 mins down the road. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this rental to others. The location, amenities, and excellent host made it a great place to stay.

Convenient and comfortable

Enjoyed our stay. Convenient to Grand Canyon and other parks and sites. Highly recommend. Ideally would be helpful to have a earlier checkin than 4. Perhaps that is standard?

Thank you for your kind review, Jennifer! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the location convenient for visiting the Grand Canyon and other nearby parks. We really appreciate your recommendation! Regarding the check-in time, yes, 4pm is our standard check-in time to ensure everything is properly prepared for each guest. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins when possible, so feel free to reach out ahead of time next visit, and we'll see if we can make it work. We’d love to host you again!

Perfect spot for a family visit.

Neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Home was exactly as described and a great layout for our needs. Lots of amenities some of which we used and many we never had time to enjoy, but appreciate that they were available. Very nice to have a garage to park car in as well. We traveled with senior parents and our dog to visit our college aged daughter for family weekend. Wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. Everyone enjoyed the home.
