SUMMARY
Tonquin Beach House is your West Coast escape, a two-bedroom haven perched near Tonquin Beach and Tonquin Trails, just minutes from downtown Tofino. Perfect for adventurous couples or a group of friends, this open-concept retreat comfortably hosts up to 6 guests. The bright master features a king bed and updated ensuite; the second bedroom offers a queen bed. A spacious living area with a pull-out couch, two fireplaces, and a fully stocked kitchen make this an ideal home base for exploring beaches, tide pools, and sunsets.
LIVING ROOM + DINING
Bright, spacious living room with two seating areas and a second wood-burning fireplace. The dining space flows into the living area for seamless socializing. A queen-size pull-out sofa provides additional sleeping arrangements. Large windows invite forest views and natural light, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
KITCHEN
Fully stocked with cooking utensils and dishes to suit any getaway. Wood-burning ambiance enhances dining experiences, while a modern setup supports weekend cooking adventures. Please note wood is not provided.
COFFEE + TEA: We provide a starter supply of fresh locally roasted beans by Foggy Bean in Ucluelet. There is a drip coffee maker with filters. Assorted organic tea from Ucluelet Thay Tea.
SLEEPING - 2 bedrooms
Primary Bedroom: King bed, bright and airy with a stand-up desk for remote work.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed.
Living Room: Queen-size pull-out couch for two additional guests.
BATHROOMS
Two newly renovated bathrooms featuring modern fixtures and slate tiling. Primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower and all necessary amenities. The guest bathroom has a tub and laundry facilities. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and hand soap (refillable of course!).
OUTDOORS
Large deck with BBQ and patio table; cedar beams and forest views creating a tranquil outdoor retreat. Steps to Tonquin Beach and nearby tidal pools.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Baby-friendly gear included: toys, books, infant bath, baby rocking chair, and pack-and-play with bassinet attachment. Quiet neighbourhood conducive to family stays.
PARKING & ACCESS
Upper-level access; carport access for guests. Note: Tofino by-law requires on-site on-site tenant presence; you will share the driveway with the on-site caretaker.
GUEST ACCESS
Access to the entire upper level of the house and the carport. A long term rental suite below houses an on-site caretaker; guests share the driveway with the tenant.
TRANSPORTATION
Tonquin Beach House sits within easy reach of Tonquin Beach and nearby trails for tide pools and sunsets. Downtown Tofino is a short walk away for dining, shopping, and culture.
This is perfect for car free exploring downtown; in the summer months it is often very hard to find parking, so we very much recommend taking advantage of using the MUP (multi use path) and walking, biking, e-bike or grabbing the Free Shuttle that runs in the Summer months to the beaches.

Two parking spaces available in the on-site driveway.
PETS
No pets allowed.
WILDLIFE & QUIET HOURS
Strict quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Respect for neighbours and local wildlife is appreciated.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Age minimum is 23+ to book; maximum occupancy is 6 guests (including babies and children).
- Blue Crush Concierge direct bookings help save on fees and support local charities; 2% donated to local charity every quarter.
- Booking policies include cleaning fees plus GST, PST, and MRDT.
- Summer peak requires a 3-night minimum with back-to-back stays to avoid gaps. Mid-season rates apply to winter long weekends and Christmas. Holidays require a 3-night minimum.
- Discounts available for longer stays (7 nights or more) outside peak season; monthly stays may have reduced taxes and service fees—contact for a quote.
- Direct Booking Damage Deposit is held at check-in and released after check-out if no damages occur.
- Insurance: TRUVI provides digital trust protections; guests will be contacted for verification before check-in.
- Managed by Blue Crush Vacation Rentals; District Licence LIC-2024-0345; Provincial Licence H680488651.

- Parking available. Park in front of the car port. The downstairs tenant needs to be able to get out of her spot.
