Wonderful location and accommodations with beautiful sunset views! Right on the ocean and close to parksville for all the amenities. Host was very communicative and the cabin had everything we needed.

We loved this place. Right on the water, quiet, and beautiful. I spent one morning just sitting by the water watching sea lions feeding. I love the deck bench that allows you to sit in either direction; towards the cabin or the water. Brian was fast with communication. I was surprised to receive a quick response to an early morning message. I hope to return.

We absolutely loved staying in Brian's cabin! Everyone slept well in the clean and comfortable beds, the ocean scenery and sunsets were breathtaking, and we saw much wildlife (sea lions, otters or maybe seals?, blue herons, vulture, deer and fawns, a hummingbird, sea gulls, lots of other little birds, and even a couple of cute little garter snakes). The kids loved exploring the tide pools for little hermit crabs and other critters and there were lots of visible starfish when the tide was low. We even went kayaking straight from the rocky beach!

We found it just as advertised, clean, room(s) for all, well-apportioned, beautifully located, a truly nice space to share time with friends and gaze out at the water and sky, not necessarily in that order. Recommended.

The cabin was perfect. Everything we hoped for. Homely, comfortable, very well equipped, quiet, private... The setting was amazing... Facing onto the water, lovely sunsets with sea lions swimming past every evening. Eagles, hummingbirds, deer.. Small private beach, bench overlooking the water, huge veranda for sun and shade. Very quiet and peaceful. Just lovely.

This cabin was perfect for a relaxing get away. The view of the bay was incredible with seals, birds, deer and bunnies right off the deck. The cabin had everything we needed to make meals. If you are showing up in the dark, it is a bit tricky to find as the house number and the lane to the cabin are a bit hidden. The cabin was clean, well stocked and was exactly as described. The view can’t be beat!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. The view of the Salish Sea was stunning. It was a very relaxing stay and we highly recommend this cabin.

Fantastic cabin with incredible views

We couldn’t be happier with our stay in this lovely, roomy cabin with a fantastic view out of large windows and from a spacious deck. With a well supplied kitchen - these owners have made an excellent effort to supply everything someone could need. We will definitely return someday and highly recommend this home.

Scenic peaceful spot

This was a perfect location for our stay in this area. Beautiful sunsets from the deck. Lots of animal activity with deer stopping by every day including a mother with 2 fawns. Bald eagles, herons, seals and rabbits were all in the area.

Beach good for swimming at high tide. Bedrooms very tight but great bed and new crisp bedding . Cabin very well equipped with everything you could want . Private location and private beach Best couch ever

Panabode Cabin

A clean & cozy cabin with beautiful evening light and lovely sunsets. Our kids enjoyed playing in the ocean in front of the cabin and swimming to nearby pebble beach. Great deck with lots of sun & big yard for outdoor play.

Lakeside cabin

The cabin was comfortable and had even more amenities than we needed. The tidal pools were great for exploring and learning and the wildlife sitings were a joy to see. Next time, I'll remember to wear socks or pants when walking in the long grass to save my ankles from the gnat bites. We would definitely stay here again!
