ABOUT THIS HOME
Welcome to our EagleVail home! We’re a local family traveling during the festive weeks of December. Availability includes December 20 - January 3 only. Please inquire if you are interested in a discount to book both weeks.
This home is in a prime location just minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek. Nearby attractions include Beaver Creek Resort, Nottingham Park, Vail Brewing Co., the 'Green Mile,' as well as conveniences like City Market Avon, specialty food stores, equipment rentals, restaurants, and nightlife. The house is comfortable for families and friends with space to relax, hang out, play games, prepare meals, do laundry, and get a good night's rest.
THE SPACE
-4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, including a main level primary suite
-Bedroom 1 on main level: King Bed
-Bedroom 2 on 2nd level: Twin Daybed w/ Twin Trundle
-Bedroom 3 on 2nd level: Twin Bed
-Bedroom 4 on 2nd level: Twin Bed
-Additional Sleeping: Crib or Air Mattress (Upon Request)
-A fully stocked kitchen with updated appliances and everything you need to make your favorite après ski meal.
-Wood burning pot belly stove is the centerpiece of the home and helps keep the main floor warm and cozy.
-Smart TVs are on the main floor and in mother-in-law suite. The home has high-speed wifi so everyone can stay connected.
-Fenced yard that backs up to Highway 6. You will hear some traffic, but you will be hard-pressed to find a house in the Vail Valley where you can't hear some traffic. Spacious back deck with outdoor seating to soak in the crisp alpine air and experience the peaceful mountain setting.
-Laundry/mud room with large stackable washer/dryer less than a year old.
This home is a 4 bedroom duplex with 3.5 bathrooms, has a large deck with a fenced backyard, and a large washer/dryer. The home features modern updates like heat control from your phone, high-speed wifi, smart TVs, and smart washer/dryer, while keeping the rustic charm of mountain living front and center. With real hardwood floors, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable living, you’ll feel right at home during your stay.
Take a stroll around the inviting neighborhood, or walk out to the backyard to enjoy the Colorado sunset from the deck. When you want to get out and adventure, the house is a 5 minute drive to Beaver Creek (1.4 miles) and a 10-15 minute drive to Vail (8.4 miles), depending on I-70 traffic.
THE LAYOUT
As you pull in, you'll notice the quiet and family-friendly neighborhood. There are 3 parking spots: two in the driveway and one gravel spot. Keyless entry will bring you into the home, where you'll be greeted with cozy mountain living.
Main Floor:
-Fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances
-Dining area with seating for meals or game night
-Living area with sectional couch and smart TV
-Powder room with toilet and sink
-Primary bedroom with king bed and attached bathroom featuring bathtub/shower combo (one king)
-Pot belly stove (wood-burning fireplace)
-Laundry room with large stackable washer/dryer
-Walkout to back deck with seating and a yard that backs up to Highway 6
-Walkout to front porch with bench and gas grill
-3 parking spaces: driveway with two spots, plus a gravel spot
Upper Level:
-Mother-in-law suite with trundle bed and attached bathroom featuring shower (two twins)
-Two kids rooms with twin beds and bathroom across the hall featuring bathtub/shower combo (two twins: one twin in each room)
Other things to note:
-The duplex home is two stories and has stairs
-Two steps to reach front door
-The garage will be locked
-No street parking
-Starter set of wood for the fireplace provided
-Starter set of kitchen and bath supplies
-Driveway snow removal provided with 4" or more
-Pets considered with pet deposit
-This is our primary home and will not feel as sparse as your typical vacation rental house
-Home is only available from December 20 - 27 and/or December 27 - January 3. Please inquire if you are interested in a discount to book both weeks.
