Such a lovely spot. Had everything you needed- except towels (hand, bath and beach). Glad the owner reminded me so I brought what we needed. Best sleeps ever. So comfortable. My only regret was not being able to stay longer and swim in the awesome lake. It really was a fantastic spot. Would not hesitate to book again.

Had a wonderful stay in Belgrade Lakes at this VRBO property. Beautiful area with two close access points to the lake (one a dock and kayak launch and one a beach-like swimming area). House is peacefully situated in a private neighborhood however not too far from the small town center and easy access to larger shopping areas (think Walmart and Home Depot) only 25 min away.House was nice and aligned to what was in the listing. We used the house as a basecamp while visiting family in the area. Most of time was either relaxing or sleeping. It was perfect for that.Overall, a great experience!

Just what we were looking for!

The property was clean, roomy, comfortable and convenient. If you're looking for a very quiet place to relax, swim, fish, and just be, this is the place for you!

Clean lovely home. Easy check in and great sleeping facilities. Would be nice if there were some bath towels but other than that, everything worked out well.

Beautiful spot

This was our first time out to the belgrade lakes region and we loved the Wildwood estates neighborhood. Vera's house was beautifully built and very clean and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the public beach very much and would love to return.

August in Maine

Our visit to Long Pond was very good. Family visits, walks and fishing; swimming in the clear, clean lake. We enjoyed our moth in Rome.

Serene getaway

We spent a lovely weekend here while visiting our son at a nearby camp. The house was spotless, and we were very grateful for the central air conditioning when temps reached the high 90’s!

Family time

Overall great experience. Super clean and roomy accommodations. Plenty of room for 4 adults amd 2 children. Very comfortable beds. Great proximity to the beach. Our only issue was getting the tv to work - never quite figured it out. But we didn’t really need it anyway.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious

This is a lovely property with ample rooms for different family members to read, watch TV, or play. While not technically "lakefront" the lake is in view directly in front of you, and it's a 2-minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet.

Best Ever

We travel often and stay at vrbo's as often as possible. This house and host were by far one of the best homes we've stayed at. Quiet setting, with lots of room to sit and talk with everyone. The home is exquisitely decorated. There is nothing you could want for it's fabulous.

Great vacation getaway!

We agree with all the rest of the positive reviews for this vacation home. My kids had a great time playing in the yard and watching evening TV in the large vaulted ceiling living room. The knotty pine through out the house is amazing. With my construction background, I can tell someone spent a lot of effort, time and care in building this home. Thank you to the owners!

Light filled clean cottage that is also warm and cozy

I stayed here for four nights over weekend in late May. It’s about 35 minutes from Waterville and a pleasant drive for a family with a student graduating from college. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well appointed. They even have sharp knives and a non stick pan! The owners were very responsive and extremely gracious when I had a couple of problems. This was a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it.

Relaxing Family Getaway

From the moment we drove into the lake community we felt peace and tranquility. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and for a couple of our nights 2 grandparents came to stay. The community beach was spacious and we were often the only people down in the water in the mornings. In the afternoons there were a few other nice, friendly families which delighted our kids to make friends on vacation. Kayaking on the lake was also so peaceful as there were only a handful of other boaters out, even on the weekend in August! We even had a fire in the fire pit and watched the meteor shower late into the night. We also did two local hikes with the kids that were great. We love our time there and were sad to leave. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Family Get Together

Nice house and location. Great area to walk and lake view/access. Loved the deck! All beds were comfortable although small twin was very firm. Would stay again.

Relaxing lake house

We had a very nice stay at the lake! The house was very cute and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We did have a little trouble finding information regarding things to do in the area so it would have been helpful to have more information provided in the red notebook (I.e. where to rent boats, menus from local restaurants). The beds were quite high and one short member of our family had trouble getting into bed, so bring a stool if someone in your group meets that criteria. Overall, a very peaceful getaway! The lake was warm and beautiful and neighbors were very friendly!

Enjoyable stay

We were looking for a property for a recent visit with our daughter who is a student at UMaine Farmington (about 20-25 minutes away.) We are glad we chose this location, and would book it again. It's a lovely home on a quiet road, just a few minutes walk to the private beach on the beautiful lake. The place is open and airy, and our party of five spread out nicely in the three bedrooms. The house was clean, cozy, and well stocked. We were able to host my daughter and a couple of her friends for a home cooked meal each night. The kitchen with island is open to the living room, which made conversation while meal prepping easy to do. We ate meals and played cards around the table in the adjoining room (the extra table and chairs provided were a nice bonus.) The TV, cable and wifi were good, and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement. The area is beautiful, the house is lovely, and the weekend was very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. We look forward to coming back.

Wonderful getaway

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and comfortable. We did not realize how far away the property was from Fairfield, this is where family and friends are. Other than that we had an excellent time

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage was extremely comfortable, warm and easy to live-in. It is close to Belgrade Lakes town and to fantastic hiking trails. Highly recommend this property.
