Leila’s Chalet sits along the Lake Michigan shoreline, steps from the sandy beach and surrounded by the natural beauty that defines this part of the coast. Warm wood interiors open to a broad outdoor deck with picture perfect views across the water and space for long, easy afternoons outside. Guests also enjoy exclusive access to the renowned Chalet on the Lake resort, where beaches, pools, courts, playgrounds, ponds, and other amenities are shared.
THE SPACE
Leila's Chalet Unit #19
The main level of the chalet centers on wide lake views that fill the living and dining areas with natural light. Wood-lined walls give the space an inviting feel, while sliding glass doors extend the room onto the large deck above the shoreline. Seating is arranged for time spent together, whether sharing meals or watching the lake shift throughout the day.
Upstairs, both bedrooms reflect the chalet’s warm character. Each room includes a queen bed paired with sturdy twin bunks, creating flexible arrangements for families and groups.
UPPER LEVEL
Bedroom 1: Queen bed + Single Bunkbed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed + Single Bunkbed
The full bathroom is bright and modern with a glass-enclosed shower and updated fixtures. A half bath on the main level offers added convenience and supports smooth routines for larger groups.
Outdoor living is a highlight of Leila’s Chalet. The deck becomes a natural gathering place, with open views of Lake Michigan from morning through evening. A short walk connects guests to the resort’s pools, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball hoops, shuffleboard, beach volleyball court, playground, and tranquil fishing pond. The grounds offer a wide range of experiences, from time by the water to easy afternoons exploring the property.
Chalet on the Lake is a private lakefront community with wide views of Lake Michigan and a long-standing, family-friendly atmosphere. Guests have access to shared amenities that include three pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, shuffleboard, a beach volleyball court, and quiet pond areas. The sandy shoreline is the heart of the property, with an easy walk from the chalets to the water in every season.
Situated along the serene shoreline of Stevensville, the Resort also places you within moments of Southwest Michigan’s most treasured experiences. Spend your days exploring golden Lake Michigan beaches, boutique wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants that define the region’s coastal charm. Nearby St. Joseph and New Buffalo offer vibrant shopping, galleries, and seasonal festivals, while local trails, nature preserves, and orchards invite peaceful outdoor adventures. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
