I live in Fort Bragg, rented this cabin to accommodate a family visitor. I don't think you could find a better location in Fort Bragg. You feel like you are deep in the redwood forest, but you're rarely more than 5 minutes or so from anyplace in town you might want to go.When hosts use the word quaint in their description, I have found sometimes it means a rough cabin without insulation, furniture their extended family has used for the past 40 years, and no updated amenities. That is definitely not the case here. The decor is charming and has much more personality than your average corporate VRBO rental, the furniture attractive and very comfortable. There are high end finishes and maybe the best shower Ive ever used!The kitchen is well-stocked for basic cooking, and has a drip coffee maker with filters supplied. (I recommend Thanksgiving coffee's Noyo Harbor French roast blend, available at all the grocery stores in town).The deck in back was wonderful; so peaceful and a lovely place to have morning coffee. Our stay was too brief to take full advantage of the soaking tub, BBQ, or the yard with the fire pit. It would be a great place to spend a week or longer. One note: pay attention to the warning about the steep stairs. They're likely to be problematic for anyone with balance or mobility issues. For this reason, I personally wouldn't bring a toddler here, but otherwise it's a great place for families.

The description of the little house on Vrbo is accurate-“ Unique retreat surrounded by redwoods - outdoor tub & wood stove, dog-friendly”. It was a comfortable place to stay. Located near Fort Bragg, Caspar and Mendocino.

We stayed at this cabin for our one-year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful and comfortable space — it truly made our celebration special.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor tub was a wonderful highlight, and we really appreciated how private and peaceful the setting was.Pro tip for future guests:Bring regular ground coffee (no Keurig available so our K-Cups were useless), a few extra fire starters if you plan to use the wood-burning stove or outdoor fire pit, and some beach towels for the outdoor tub and Glass Beach.We are so grateful for the care you put into making guests feel welcome. Thank you again for creating such a lovely place to relax and recharge. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and hope to return in the future.
