We think our place will help you experience everything Clifden has to offer.This spacious five-bedroom first-floor property is centrally located in Clifden Town and offers guests a comfortable stay in a modern space, just a few steps from local shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. This is a perfect place for families with older teens or groups of friends to share. Ideally located for guests to enjoy the social life that Clifden offers, while still being close to local attractions and activities.The property also has the bonus of being located next to the Clifden bus stop, which has regular daily bus services to and from Galway City. The famous “Sky Road” loop is nearby, and Connemara’s Wild Atlantic Way is ready to be explored. Clifden town has ample shops, bars and restaurants and will provide everything you might need for your self-catering holiday. Traditional music, song and dance are very popular in many of the local pubs.
Further afield, but just a short drive away, you will find beautiful beaches at Mannin Bay, Dogs Bay and Omey Beach. A visit to Connemara National Park at Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, Sky Road and Killary Fjord are all very popular attractions with visitors to the area. Golf is available at Connemara Golf Links in Ballyconneely, one of the most scenic golf courses in Ireland. The Connemara region is famous for its unique beauty and will not disappoint. The ferry to Inishbofin Island can be taken from Cleggan — an ideal day trip. Other local activities include kayaking, coasteering, mountain walking, golf, fishing, pony trekking, cycling and much more. Ballyconneely 9.5km, Roundstone 18km, Cleggan 11.5km, Letterfrack 14.5km, Westport 65km, Galway City 75km.The accommodation in this spacious property is all on the first-floor level. It consists of a spacious living room, combined kitchen and dining room, five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a utility room.Entry to the property is at the side of the building into a bright hallway at ground-floor level. The accommodation is upstairs. When you ascend the stairs, you will find a cosy living room and kitchen to the back of the property. It is furnished with comfortable modern couches, a large coffee table and Irish channels on the TV.The living area also has the added benefit of a tea and coffee station, as well as a wine and beer fridge – a perfect space for entertaining or simply relaxing with a coffee and a book.
The combined kitchen and dining room is to the rear of the property and is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes a dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and ample tableware and cookware. The dining area has a large table and chairs which will comfortably seat all guests. The nearby utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.The property has five bedrooms: two king-size bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, sleeping 9 in total. All bedrooms have wooden floors, wardrobes, drawers, hairdryer, lockers and lamps, offering ample storage.
There are two bathrooms in the property, all with a shower, WC and sink, featuring modern finishes and fittings. Two of the bathrooms are on the main accommodation level.
The property is centrally heated throughout by an electric heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. A free public car park is located about 150m from the property, behind the Clifden Tourist Office. On-street parking is available and is charged at €3 per day from 11.30am–6.00pm Monday–Saturday, but is free at all other times. Short breaks are available year-round.
