Million Dollar View & Location

Questo è un condominio fantastico con lo scenario più spettacolare. Il condominio in sé è tre camere da letto con 2 bagni, cucina, zona pranzo, soggiorno e un mazzo favoloso che sicuramente ti piacerà. Vi prego di inviarmi un messaggio sui social media (Beach Vacations Nicole Johns) per ulteriori risparmi prima di prenotare.

Il ponte frontale da 50 piedi ha una vista libera della spiaggia e delle splendide acque del Golfo. Il ponte anteriore si avvolge su un ponte laterale che comprende una zona pranzo all'aperto. Qui puoi goderti un caffè mattutino mentre guardi i delfini o guardare le stelle di notte e ascoltare il suono rilassante delle onde dell'oceano. L'accesso al ponte è disponibile da una delle due camere da letto o dal soggiorno. La spiaggia è letteralmente a pochi passi dal ponte. La piscina, il grill, la vasca idromassaggio, la sala giochi e l'area fitness sono tutti nelle vicinanze, così puoi goderti tutto!

La camera da letto principale ha un letto King che è abbastanza comodo da dormire tutta la notte! Puoi coccolarti con un buon libro o semplicemente rilassarti e guardare la TV con una bella vista sulla spiaggia. C'è una TV a schermo piatto con servizio via cavo e un lettore DVD, quindi assicurati di portare i tuoi film preferiti! Il bagno principale ha i suoi lavandini con una cabina armadio a specchio.

'Seashell Paradise' è la seconda stanza dei condomini ed è arredata con un letto matrimoniale. Dispone inoltre di TV a schermo piatto, servizio via cavo, lettore DVD e cabina armadio con specchio a specchio.

'Sailboat Bliss' è la terza camera da letto e ha due letti singoli. dispone di TV a schermo piatto, servizio via cavo, lettore DVD e cabina armadio con specchio.

'Flip-flop Mania' è il 2 ° bagno e ha una vasca full size e un lavandino. Si trova proprio di fronte alla zona lavanderia che ha una lavatrice e asciugatrice per la vostra convenienza.

Il soggiorno dispone di un divano letto matrimoniale e due sedie per sedersi e rilassarsi mentre vi godete la vista sulla spiaggia o guardare la TV.

Il bar separa la cucina e il soggiorno e può ospitare comodamente 4 persone. La sala da pranzo si trova accanto al bar e può ospitare comodamente 6 persone.

La cucina è completamente attrezzata con tutto l'essenziale. Il frigorifero ha un fabbricatore di ghiaccio e la lavastoviglie rende il lavaggio dei piatti un gioco da ragazzi in modo da avere più tempo per godersi la vacanza.

La randa è il luogo perfetto per fuggire e godersi un angolo di paradiso ed essere ancora vicino alle grandi attrazioni commerciali e divertenti che
Destin ha da offrire.

This was a great unit to rent for a beach vacation. It was on the ground floor with a Direct walkout onto the beach. Great beach views. The unit was clean and ready to occupy. Our host was quite responsive to a couple of messages that I sent her. I recommend this rental highly!

My family had an excellent time staying at this condo! We knew we wanted to be beachfront, but this really exceeded our expectations. It’s truly the closest you could be to the beach. With two young kids with us, this location was perfect for quick access to and from the beach. Also, the chairs and umbrella being included was a huge plus. Check-in/check-out instructions could have been a bit clearer, but overall we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for having us!

The Condo was amazing and exactly as described. We couldn't have been any closer to the Beach. We only spent a few nights but I could have stayed a month on the back porch. Check in and check out was flawless and easier than anywhere I have ever stayed. Would definitely recommend 10/10 to anyone traveling to Destin.

The place was very well stocked, very clean and had a BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean. My son even said "how'd you manage to get the best place in the building" it was very quiet and very much had a resort vibe. We had 2 chairs set up for us every morning with an umbrella, just had to walk right out. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and not very crowded. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. It's a nice beach that doesn't seem overly crowded and we saw dolphins swimming right out front! This is one of the favorite places we've stayed in Florida and will come back. NOTE: there are no condiments so plan accordingly, but it is very well-stocked with paper products, shampoo, detergent and bath towels.

Perfect Spot for Family Vacation

Our family of 6 stayed in this condo for spring break and we had a great experience. Fast access to the beach, hot tub and heated pool on property, plenty of beds and seating, functional kitchen, and close to shopping and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone with kids or possible for two smaller families to share. Definitely going to book this property again.

Loved the location and how close to the beach it was. But it was not as clean as I was expecting. We had several bugs in the unit. Might want to exterminate. Pool and hot tub were not very clean but overall it was a good vacation for us.

Thank you for staying at our condo! It is definitely the perfect location and incredible views. This is the first I have heard of any bugs you "seen" We do have a pest control service that Mainsail uses that does a great job. You say several but never contacted me about this. I would have had someone come out if you would have told me about this. But sadly you didn't communicate with me. I honestly go above and beyond to make my guests feel at home and comfortable. I would have been glad to handle this situation while you were there. I am sorry for your inconvenience and will be following up with this.

Wonderful Family Friendly Stay

Mainsail is a great property, especially if you have kids. The pools and hot tub were great! We loved this condo - right on the beach, no need for an elevator to access, great views and big enough for our family of 5. Having access to the beach chairs and umbrella was very convenient. We highly recommend Mainsail 201!

Nice Spot With Easy Access

The best part of this unit is it being on the ground floor since you never have to use the elevator and you literally walk out your back patio and you are on the beach 100 feet later. Unit is definitely a rental only unit as the unit lacked character and had the bare minimums in decor. Do not let that put you off as everything we needed was there and easily accessible.

Great location but needs updated!

Location is great for a beach getaway, but it is in serious need of updating (new matrasses, closet doors, etc.) and a deep cleaning.

Mainsail

This is our 4th year staying at Mainsail Condos. It really is located in the most convenient area. The pool and beach are never overly crowded. This condo was a first time for my family. I will never book anywhere else. The first floor was so convenient. You can see the ocean from that level. The condo was spacious and clean. Thank you for having us!

Not perfect but it was okay

We love the location of this property and have actually stayed here 2 times. The first time we were more than happy. This second time there were some issues. The property wasn't cleaned as very well when we arrived. The bathroom toilet kept clogging, and the dishwasher didn't work. The property is in a great location with beautiful views a big porch and easy access to the beach.

Glad you enjoyed the location and beautiful views. I am sorry you feel the place wasn't as before. I do have the same cleaner that I have had for years. I am not sure what you mean about it not being as clean. I did have to purchase a new dishwasher. I apologize that it went out. I bought that one just a few years ago. We have had steady bookings so I am sure the wear and tear on the dishwasher was lot. We have since replaced it with a brand new one from Lowes. It is working great!! We sincerely hope you and your family have a great rest of your summer. Last year was rough on us all so it was so nice to have our place open for guests to enjoy the sunshine and beach. Thank you again.

1st floor easy beach access

1st time to the Destin area. Loved that the outlets/cvs/ Winn Dixie and Starbucks were all within walking distance as well as some local shops! Sand was uncontrollable as expected even with sweeping daily. 1st floor access to the beach made going there with kids a breeze when we needed to run back to the room for anything. Porch was a huge plus. Family of 8 could sit out and watch the storms without getting rained on. Master was HUGE! Bunk beds were a bit wobbly. Master toilet teeters when on it lol. Kitchen was amazingly stocked with pots and pans. Lots of boogie boards and some sand toys were provided along with chairs/ umbrellas which was a plus. No real complaints other than simple cosmetic things! Loved not being in the heart of traffic. Close enough yet far enough to the chaos of downtown.

Beautiful modern condo in an ideal location!! Search no further!

I've been coming to this area for 20+ years and have found the ideal location for the whole family (young kids, teens, grandparents). This unit is on the ground floor, steps away from the boardwalk to the beach. So easy to move all our beach gear back and forth. Incredible panoramic views from the porch. Perfect for coffee or cocktails! The kitchen and bathrooms must have been renovated recently and are modern and beautifully decorated. Kitchen provided all the equipment for our cooking needs. Every room is equipped with TVs, but we spent most of our time enjoying the wrap around patio. Condo was spotless and communication from owner was timely. Multiple pools, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, grills and more short walk away. Dream location and family trip, we will be back!

Great trip

The location is amazing. You can walk straight out to the beach or pool. Beach chairs and umbrella service included really made a difference with a 5month old baby. Kitchen has pots and pans along with adequate utensils. Small amount of shampoo/dishwasher soap/detergent provided which helped. Towels and extra linens also provided and were in great condition. The community at Mainsail was great and the security is great. One parking space comes with the unit, but you can also buy a second space if needed. Condo also located across the street from Chick-fil-a and the outlets. The unit was clean. Could use a new fabric on living room couch/ chairs along with a repair on the sliding doors. Overall great stay and would stay again.

Summer Vacation

We had a blast the past 6 days. Great location . Steps away from the beach and pool. Great views of the ocean from condo. Fully stocked kitchen except ice maker did not work. The condo had enough room for 6 people. It could have been cleaner. Upon arrival there were dirty towels still in washer to be washed. Sand on floor and on comforter in queen bedroom. The closet doors were off the track and the master bedroom sliding glass door did not lock leaving our personnel belongings at risk when we left condo. This was reported but did not hear back. Condo would be ideal if somethings were fixed and cleaned up a little.

I looked back at our conversations and noticed I let you guys check in early. That is probably the reason my cleaner accidentally left the things in the washer. I guess I should be more sure of things before allowing early check ins. I will show her this review & it will be discussed. The sliding doors would lock they can just be tricky. We have never had any issues with anything being taken. Mainsail is a safe resort and beautiful place to vacation. Great Location

The best part of this condo is the location. It is literally steps from the beach. The entire complex is in a great central location as well. The downfall was lack of cleanliness. All the adults (4) in our group complained to each other about how dirty this condo was. The cleaning lady was sweeping on her way out as we arrived. This dishwasher was going. The floors were not mopped and you could tell areas that hardly ever get mopped due to build up on the edges of the floor. Ceiling fans and air vents were full of dust. The table had a very sticky residue that we could not get off. The patio door was very difficult to close. There seemed to be a shortage of pillows (we could only find 5) and they were very flat. The living area furniture was dirty and could use a deep cleaning. Lastly, the mattresses were terrible. I’m really not one to write a bad review, but I believe this condo could really be a gem. It just needs some improvements and a really good deep cleaning.

Location is great- won’t stay again

PROS- The location and having access off the deck directly to the beach boardwalk was perfect!The condo offered plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you need.The owner allowed us to check in about 30 min early and got us a temporary code to do so. CONS- The dryer was broken when we arrived( Friday). Messaged the owner & she was quick to respond letting me know it would likely be Monday before she could get someone out which we totally understood. I reached back out Monday and she informed me that “ I have been on the phone with them early this morning. They are looking to see if the part is there. It’s something in the switch. That makes the dryer start.” continued to say it broke with the last renters & had someone out to repair and they told her it was fixed at the moment but needed a new spring for the start button. She was not transparent with us & had she informed me knowing there was an issue before our stay we could have planned for not having access to the washer and dryer. Traveling with an infant and young children we needed that. Never fixed for us. Upon arrival the unit smelled of pine sol however the kitchen table was a sticky mess. Sand is next to impossible to rid completely but it was as if the cleaning person didn’t even bother sweeping maybe just mopped over it or not even at all. I swept the day we arrived & had a large pile of sand, hair, & food crumbs. Dirt buildup on floor, dirty vents, light switches. I could go on but out of space.

Thank you for taking time to review our home.I am once again truly sorry for the dryer inconvience.It is the only complaint you had when you messaged me so I knew nothing about the smell of pine sol (which means it was cleaned) or crumbs or etc you have mentioned. I know you were upset about the dryer so it was easy to "add" some other items. We have a new cleaner & she has done an incredible job with cleaning for me. I receive pics from her after every cleaning. On the dryer, as I explained to you when you and I text back & forth, the appliance repair guy came the week before and fixed what was wrong. When they called me, they told me it was working. They said it might need a start switch eventually, but the dryer was fully working when they left the condo.That would be the reason I didn't tell you because I was told there was no issue. The dryer was working according to repair guy. Then you guys checked in & you told me it wasn't working. I called them early Monday morning & they had to order the part & unfortunately it didn't come in until you left. But the dryer is fixed now & is working. The condo is ready for our future guests & its truly a wonderful place to stay. I understand you were frustrated & I am sorry for that. I wish I could have had it working while you were there. It was truly beyond my control. I hope you and your family have a great rest of your summer. Thanks again for staying at our beautiful clean home... Its a wonderful place to vacation,

Beautiful View from a Poorly Maintained Condo

Highlights of a letter sent to the property manager 4 days into our stay. She was cordial and responsive within hours. The keyless entry also malfunctioned and was repaired the next day. Bedroom drapes came totally unanchored but we chose to rig them up instead of waiting for a maintenance call during our vacay. Dear Ms. XXX, I am taking time out of my vacation to inform you of our dissatisfaction of the unit that we are renting. For the past 15 years, we have vacationed in Destin and enjoyed the condos at Mainsail. While the view is exceptional, this specific unit is not at all consistent with the comfort, cleanliness, and upkeep that we have come to expect from Mainsail. Instead of premium accommodations, this unit is consistent with a 2 star motel. Some major issues for your information: Check In: Waiting for an entry code to the unit after our arrival was annoying. Queen Bedroom: The best room but closet door are off the runners and a filthy air vent above the bed. A drywall problem next to the light with a huge moveable crack. Twin Bedroom: Attractive but both mattresses sleep directly on the springs. Closet door is too tall for the frame and is off the hinge and broken. Upon arrival, both beds were soiled with sand and dirt underneath the comforter. Laundry Closet / Guest Bathroom: No door on the utility closet. Burned out light in guest bathroom. No replacement bulbs in condo. Kitchen: Dishes (pans/cookie sheets) were dirty with grease and baked on food. Overhead florescent light does not turn on without fiddling with the switch for a few minutes. Air vents are filthy. Living Room: Burned out lights over the dining table. Chair cushions are filthy. Sofa isn’t fit for any kind of comfort or support. I am 180 pounds and sink in the couch. The screen door is ripped from it’s frame. Master Bedroom: Just shabby. Overhead fan is loud and a rusted floor fan is in the corner. Blackout drapes are are coming off of the railing and the railing itself is coming off of the wall. A deep clean is desperately needed with the corners of this room absolutely filthy. Less than 10 various wire hangers in this whole condo. Master Bathroom: Closet doors are unable to roll. Half of the light bulbs are burned out over the sinks. Shower head is caked with hard water deposits and mildew. Towel rack over the toilet isn't secure to hold a wet towel. Missing cylinder in the toilet paper holder.

After receiving your email, I have been expecting this review from you. I am sorry you spent your vacation finding things unpleasant in our condo. We have looked into your list of complaints and addressed each one. Upon your arrival, the text you sent me was so positive and said how much you loved the condo. I am sorry you had a change of heart during your stay. I know the keypad messing up was annoying and the beginning of your woes, but that is the first time it has happened in five years. We are located on the first floor right on the beach., Our walkway leads directly to the walkway to the beach. Our views are stunning. Our location can not be beat. We have updated our entire condo. It has brand new walk in tile showers! New beautiful barn doors for the closets. Brand new tile floors that look spectacular.
