Siamo perfettamente situati a meno di un isolato dalla Lake Michigan Beach e un isolato dal centro di Charlevoix. Il Bonnie Lodge dispone di 6 camere da letto, 3 bagni, cucina, spaziosa sala per la colazione, sala da pranzo, lavanderia e una veranda che si affaccia sui tramonti più belli del Lago Michigan a Charlevoix!

Il Bonnie Lodge è stato costruito nel 1897. I nostri genitori hanno acquistato la nostra casa estiva da una zia nel 1975. Nostra Madre è nata a Beaver Island ed è cresciuta a Charlevoix.

Crea divertenti ricordi di famiglia in Charlevoix come abbiamo fatto per anni! Goditi le due bellissime spiagge sul lago Michigan (Michigan Beach) e sul lago Charlevoix (The Depot Beach). Ci piace passare la giornata al The Depot Beach giocando a pallavolo, nuotando e barbecue. La spiaggia del Michigan comprende concessioni e nuoto lungo il faro di Charlevoix. Inoltre, allontanati dai pesci dal molo senza la barca necessaria per pescare. Lascia una linea e cattura il tuo piccolo spigola. Prenditi il tempo per provare il miglior golf nel Midwest! A Dunamaglas godrai di uno scenario tranquillo. Prendi il traghetto Ironton per 9 buche a Ye Nyne Olde Holles. In città, porta i bambini nel più antico golf club del Michigan, il Charlevoix Golf Club (9 buche). Fai una passeggiata nel centro di Charlevoix per fare shopping e mangiare. Terry's è l'ideale per le famiglie. Molto da scegliere dal loro menu ma noto per il miglior pesce bianco in città! Per una cucina raffinata raccomando The Grey Gables all'estremità sud della città. Goditi il pianista nei fine settimana con la tua persona speciale. Sette minuti dalla location per matrimoni ed eventi di Castle Farms Michigan. Banderuola situata proprio accanto.

Great location

This home is perfectly located to walk to shopping, restaurants and the lake. Everything we would need was there at the house. It may be an older home but quite cozy and again the location couldn’t have been better. We all enjoyed everything about our trip and stay.

Spacious and great location

Property was incredibly comfortable, kids loved roaming from room to room, and excellent communication with the property manager. Easy walk to downtown. While this was not an issue for us, there was limited space to prepare food.

Charlevoix Visit

The house was great, it is quite large and easily accomodated my family of 10 people and allowed privacy for the adults. My only issue was the small kitchen with the very old sink. It will not function well if you would like to cook while visiting northern Michigan. The appliances are great but the size of the space was very small. Otherwise, a great stay and trip!

Family wedding at castle farms

Great location!!! Bottom floor could use some updating kitchen sink not ideal for doing dishes. Could use a good cleaning for cobwebs etc. trash was full when we got there a few repairs needed but overall great location and stay!!

Wedding weekend

Great location. Clean house. Plenty of amenities. Glenn was so welcoming. Needed a last minute pack and play crib for the baby and it was delivered before bedtime. So flexible on check out! Made us fall in love with Charlevoix!

Such a nice home in an amazing location.

The title says it all. If you are looking for the absolute best location in Charlevoix this is it. Walk to the bridge in 2 minutes, to the beach in 10, and anywhere else in about 5. The home itself was just as impressive. The entire upstairs seemed like it had been renovated somewhat recently. It wasn't stuffy like some older homes in the area, the beds and bedding were comfortable, towels soft, and everything was very clean. The main level was also very nice and offered plenty of room for our entire group. (We were 6 adults and 6 kids). The kitchen is a little small but came equipped with everything needed. Overall I'd be happy renting this home again and gladly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Good and bad

A great location - lots of bedrooms but many interconnecting so not as private as one might want. Kitchen small but well equipped. There aren't many instructions for how to use the tv, the remote for the heaters, etc. The heating was a big problem as we all froze in the main room where we spent most of our time - just a small wall heater there. If it's summer that would not be a problem.

Bonnie Lodge Review

What do you think of this: The location of this property is excellent, and it's quiet, especially given its proximity to the CVX bridge. The kitchen is not up to date and presents a challenge for a large group. It's well appointed with paper plates, napkins, cups, plastic cutlery, pots and pans, and condiments. But it's not really conducive to cooking for a full house, as the sink is tiny and there is no dishwasher. The beds are all very comfortable; some of the furniture needs updating, particularly in the living room. It's important to understand the layout of the house: it's good for families and kids. Two of the upstairs bedrooms connect and do not have private entrances. A downstairs bedroom is sandwiched between a bathroom and another bedroom. It was a challenge for our group, as we had separate couples in each room. That said, we had a great time in CVX, especially in the front yard where there are portable outdoor chairs available for and ample porch seating. Glenn was great and welcoming in responding to my initial call about the door code. I was assured he was available whenever I needed him (which was only once).

About what we expected

Perfect location, dated facility, needs upgrading but still warm and comfortable. Given the opportunity, would likely stay there again. Fix the broken bedspring in the double bed in the southernmost bedroom on the main floor. Also, one of the metal chairs in the porchlike dining area is broken.

Great location!

The house is a fun place for a large group. The location is great - although you have to be aware of when the drawbridge goes up when headed into town (just a couple blocks away). The owner was responsive and check in was easy. It was just as pictured! A couple things to be aware of - there isn't a good gathering place in the yard, and the kitchen would be challenging if you were there for a week with a large group and cooking at home. Otherwise all was wonderful!

Nice home and cozy

House is nice and accommodating. We stayed in winter and the home is drafty otherwise very nice and the heaters for each room worked well.

Awesome Family Reunion place

We had 22 people for a family reunion. Plenty of room for various groups, 2 living room areas and 3 porch areas. 3 refrigerators in 3 different areas (2ranges, 1oven). Walked into downtown everyday. Walked to beach, park, rented boat in harbor. Rode bikes (brought our own)for miles. Very enjoyable and would rent there again! Had a problem with hot water and they fixed it in 30 minutes, replaced propane tank when requested.

Bonnie cottage

Quaint 100+ year old house with antiques. Needs some TLC. Great sunsets down the street. Front porch and back deck were nice. Low bath fixtures. Charming. Won over the grandkids right away. Easy walk to bridge and town.

Great winter escape

This is a very nice old house, in the heart of Charlevoix. It is just a few yards away from Lake Michigan. It is within walking distance of downtown Charlevoix. This may not be the house for those that look for property with the most modern and up to date amenities but it was great for us. It is very spacious and intimate at the same time. We skied at Boyne Highlands which is a very nice drive of about 35 minutes away.

Anniversary get away

This is an older property in good condition and in a great location. I feel some of the furniture ( both inside and outside) could use some updating at this time, but we really enjoyed ourselves at the property. Spent many hours on the front porch and used the back deck for cooking our meals. I felt the registration and check in process went smoothly as the owner was really easy to deal with and responded quickly to any questions that I had.

WONDERFUL LODGE(ING) FOR FAMILY

We had a wonderful time at the Bonnie Lodge and already talking about going back soon. It was perfect for us. The extremely interesting decor really added to our enjoyment. We stayed 5 nights and would have loved to stay longer. I very highly recommend it!

Multi family getaway

Fantastic property in a great location. Can walk to the ideal sunset watching spot. Two beaches within 2 miles, one in walking distance. Owner was very responsive and easily accessible throughout our week stay. Can walk to downtown with ease. Loved every minute! Great space for multi family stays.

Great location, great experience

My wife and I, along with our 2 children and their spouses and 3 grandchildren, spent a beautiful week at the Bonnie Lodge. It was a very close walk to town and all of the downtown amenities of Charlevoix. We enjoyed walking down the street each night for the sunset. The house is old but was perfect for our group. Would stay here again.
