This unit has amazing views of the crashing surf, for which this section of the Oregon coast is famous. It also features a master bedroom with operable windows out to the surf. There are many units in this complex that do NOT have MBRs with windows direct to the sea, so that's become a deal-breaker question we answer first every time we visit Depoe.This was our first time visiting this particular unit, and we're so pleased with it that we've booked it again for Labor Day so our two sets of kids can come out and enjoy the Oregon coast with us.Bottom line: This is an excellent place to get your crashing surf fix -- if you're afflicted with that condition.

A few issues with no lights working in laundry room....we worked around it easily. The dishwasher had wheels missing on lower rack but not a big problem. I sent them a note about all. Forgot to mention they need a new coffee pot maker that closes on top totally for brewing. Worked for us just fine. Toaster could be better but we worked with it. These aren't showstoppers at all!BIG Positives: Lights were on inside throughout the house for arrival....very "at home" feeling! The updating done to the unit was fantastic!! Great job!!! Would like to work with ONE host and not have to involve VRBO. But my faith in VRBO is YEARS long with never a problem and you stand by your customers.

The property itself was excellent. Great views, especially the master bedroom. Lots of space for our family and the kitchen was well equipped. Had a few hiccups on our stay. We requested early check in and were told that couldn't be guaranteed to ensure cleaning was done. Check-in at 5 is a little later than normal but we made it work. Imagine our surprise when we checked in to find 2 bags of dirty towels in the hallway, dishes in the cupboard that needed another clean, extremely dusty ceiling fans, and a couple of personal items under the master bed. We then had an employee let herself into the property, unannounced while we were unpacking around 5:20. She said she came for the towels but we had no advance warning and it gave quite an uncomfortable and scary start to our trip. When i informed the property manager, the response felt a little underwhelming. It was more than a little discouraging that the employee felt at ease coming and going from our property without knocking. Overall, we loved the property. But, the cleanliness and scary intrusion did put a damper on things.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host responded quickly to a question we had. Everything was well maintained. Would recommend!!

Beautiful accommodations super comfortable everything. and everything we could need .whales were right out from the balcony.this was our 2nd stay at this same property we absolutely love it .we will definitely return next year. My grand kids love playing at forgery beach its like 2 minutes away please thank the owners for sharing their awesome e property with us

The rooms are very very nice And the view of the ocean was unbelievable. This is the third time i've come to the village condominiums and just love it there. The only problem I had was on our 3rd day in the morning or sink plugged up in the kitchen, and when one of us took a shower, the water came up into the sink, so they said they would send maintenance over to fix it, we came back from downtown and The water was shut off and no message. So later on in the day, we were offered another room, but there is no point of packing everything up moving it to another room, which wasn't even ready and then repacking again in the morning to go home. So we're still waiting on our refund for the last day.. other than this it was nice.

This property is the real deal...whale watching from your own condo. We were happy from the get go...nice lighting and music as we checked in. Warm and inviting feel with all bedrooms decorated very nicely. Great kitchen and so many extras. Very happy.
