We enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful. The drive to the cabin was a little worrisome with a bigger vehicle, but overall we had a amazing time.The view is wonderful

Property was nice and clean, check-in was simple. Wasn't truly 3 bedrooms tho, it had 2 bedrooms and a living room that doubled as the third bedroom but it still worked for our purpose for a couple days and we had a great time. The gravel mountain road getting up to the cabin is a little rough and 4WD/AWD would definitely be best especially in the winter. Overall a nice mountain cabin though with not too bad of a price and a hot tub

Thank you for your comments. We try to be very clear in our photos stating the third bed is a new sleeper sofa. The gravel road gets worked on all year. It only takes one huge downpour, which we had with the Alabama hurricane that turned to a frog strangler in the mountains. The graders come back out not long after to work the ruts and re-compact the stone. We are very happy to see overall you had a wonderful time and foudn the price to be a good value.

Everything was amazing! The beds were so comfortable. I love to cook when I’m on vacation and found a fully stocked kitchen, including a waffle maker. Nothing was missing. The host was so kind and even made suggestions for activities. The internet is superb!! We came back home, well rested and revitalized.

We are so happy you enjoyed our place. I remember in your inquiry how excited you were to get to come to see Rich Summit View. We have a great You Tube Video which shows the road for customers. Easy travels until the last corner before the cabin and that last corner takes consistent speed of 10-12 miles per hour depending on your vehicle. Once you make it around the corner we are the FIRST driveway. Once you make it up there the first time you know how much speed you need on subsequent trips. We use our Subaru Outback and VW Passat (in non snow/ice conditions) and both easily make it up there. Thanks for staying and we would love to have you visit again.

Boone Getaway Vacay

My husband and I stayed here for 7 days and had the best experience. The cabin is super cozy and conveniently close to historic Boone and other areas like Hawksnest. The owners are extremely welcoming and we can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful vacation in the mountains at a great property.

Found this wonderful place north of Boone after the place we usually stayed burned. This place was great. Quiet, peaceful, and great views. Easy access to the surrounding area.

Great location, private and quiet.

The property was clean and located in a quiet development. The house was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The WIFI worked well and the hot tub was clean. We had a great weekend.

Everything was perfect. A nice peaceful getaway from the Florida heat. Everyone on the mountain was very friendly. Would love to come back in the future.

Wonderful

We came to the area for my niece's graduation and enjoyed every minute. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with beautiful views. Everything was as described and conveniently located to restaurants and attractions. We will definitely keep you in mind next time we are in the area ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nice and quiet

Cute bear themed cabin in a very quiet setting with a nice view off the porch. Close to Boone and also to good hiking trails. Very good communication with owner.

Amazing cabin!!!!

My husband , dogs, and I had such a great time at this cabin! It's private and secluded yet close enough to downtown Boone if you would like a night out on the town ! There are great trails you can walk to from the cabin ! Amazing views and great management with booking the cabin. We will be back soon!!

Wanted to get away from the oppressive heat in Orlando and this lovely little cabin was the perfect place. Wonderful mountain views, and peace and quiet. the cabin is well appointed and a lovely rustic place to get away. Thank you for sharing the serenity.

Beautiful and peaceful

This place is beautiful! It’s so peaceful…the deck was my favorite spot. I spent every evening listening to the owls hooting and the birds singing. The management is awesome as well, very communicative and helpful! I’m already looking forward to my next stay there!
