This place is AMAZING!!! Everything about it was so perfect!! It is a brand new house with top of the line everything!! We came down to go offroading for the weekend as a little getaway and to relax and this was the perfect place to stay, the view was amazing and it was quiet!! Perfect parking area for our truck and trailer and atv! It is close enough to Hollerwood and really close to the trailheads, which we loved! It is the perfect place to stay if you like to Offroad but like the peace and quiet at the same time!!We will DEFINITELY be coming back and staying here when we come back to ride at Hollerwood!!

Beautiful home. The property is new - everything is in perfect condition. Driving in the area is a challenge — the roads are narrow and winding, and parking at the hike sites is crazy. It took longer than we anticipated to get between locations due to only being able to drive 30-35 on the curvy roads.Highly recommended RedPoint Bbq for dining — so good!

We had a great stay at the Sandstone Lodge. It was brand new and spotless inside. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit, hanging on the front porch in the rain, and cooking meals in the nice kitchen. We would stay here again for sure!

I love the little details that turn a rental into a getaway: a comfortable bed after a long day on the trails, a fire pit surrounded by your favorite people, and a space that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

I know the Gorge, I love the Gorge, and I’m always happy to point you toward a favorite restaurant, an adventure for the day or a local spot you might otherwise miss.

Whether you’re coming to hike, ride Hollerwood and the DBBB, climb, explore, or do absolutely nothing for a few days, I want you to feel at home while you’re here.

My favorite kind of guest review is the one that says, “We didn’t want to leave.”

That’s always the goal. ❤️

This is the kind of place where mountain roads, wooded hillsides and adventure are part of the scenery. I chose this area because it puts you right in the middle of what makes Eastern Kentucky so special—the rugged beauty of Red River Gorge, the excitement of Hollerwood and the DBBB, and the slower pace that makes you feel like you’ve actually gotten away.

You can spend the day riding, hiking, climbing or exploring, grab dinner at a local favorite, then come back to a quiet evening under the stars.

I especially love that this area still feels authentic. It isn’t overly commercialized or crowded with tourist attractions at every turn. You’ll find winding mountain roads, small local businesses, friendly people and some absolutely incredible scenery.

It gives you the best of both worlds: close enough to the adventures you came for, but tucked away enough to slow down, unplug from the everyday and experience a little piece of Kentucky mountain life.

That’s exactly why I chose it—and why I think you’ll love it too.
