The house was very clean and just gorgeous and cozy. I traveled with two young children and had absolutely no safety concerns. The host was easy to get ahold of when I had questions. This was such a great place to stay, super close to just about everything in town. Highly recommend!

The major issue we had was that the internet was not working the entire time of our stay. We had a short stay (one day two nights) and I contacted the host as soon as we arrived for wifi info. He gave it to us, and our devices said connected, but no internet available. We spent a couple of hours trying different things with no luck while communicating with the host. We finally ended up using our phones as hotspots for that evening. The next day I contacted them again, and got no response until I sent a message asking for the internet issue to be addressed immediately. They brought a hotspot within an hour that worked for another few hours, then that quit as well. At that point we gave up. We spent at least a 3-4 hours of our "relaxing" 42 hour getaway trying to troubleshoot on our own and communicating with the host/waiting for responses. This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend where my husband and I could just hang out, play online and watch movies. We were really disappointed that wasn't a possibility. Secondly, there was an issue in the apartment of a paint or lacquer smell that was headache inducing when the door to the gold room wasn't closed. There were some other minor issues (tiny shower, having to move lamps around to get ideal lighting, had to get towels out of the dryer before showering, no check-in/out guide) that would have totally been overlooked if not for the internet and smell problems, but combined, it made for a really disappointing stay.

The internet outage you experienced was the result of a provider issue that unfortunately occurred during your stay. As this is a brand-new unit, we are still working through a few initial setup challenges, and we regret that this directly impacted your experience. We understand how frustrating it must have been to spend valuable time troubleshooting and waiting for solutions, and we apologize for the inconvenience and the delay in our communication. While we did our best to provide a temporary hotspot, we recognize that it did not deliver the reliability you needed. We also appreciate you bringing the odor concern to our attention. This is not the experience we want for our guests, and we are actively addressing it to ensure the space is comfortable throughout. Regarding the smaller details you mentioned, such as lighting, towels, and the check-in/out guide, your feedback is incredibly helpful. These are items we are already working to improve so future guests have a smoother and more enjoyable stay. We strive to provide a comfortable and well-appointed space at a value that compares favorably to larger, higher-priced accommodations in the region, and we’re sorry we fell short during your visit. Your input is genuinely appreciated and will help us continue improving. Thank you again for your honest review.
