It was our 2nd year here and it was great once again. Love hanging out on the dock, having a fire, and going to the nearby coffee shop and restaurant. Very peaceful!

Very nice lake, and I liked the old cabin feel. However, the listing said there was a shower, but there was no shower. I called and messaged the host but didn't get a response. We ended our trip early just so we could get back to having a shower. The beds were full of human and pet hair from previous visitors. Made us question how clean it was to sleep in. Besides these two things, everything else was great. We really enjoyed the lake.

We had an excellent time at this cottage, instructions from owners were clear, we lacked nothing and enjoyed everything. The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for, a serene setting where time almost stands still, although time did seem to accelerate as departure time approaches.

Beautiful cottage!

We were visiting from Boston and wanted a place to stay close to our families! We had an amazing time and it was a beautiful cottage on a nice, calming lake! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

Climate change has impacted central Wisconsin. We are considering A/C. However, we keep our prices low by having a “no frills” cottage experience. The lake is always nearby if you’re really overheated!

Wonderful Cottage

Peaceful no wake lake! Lots to do with kayaks provided, fire pit etc. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Bonus coffee shop and Trading Post/ restaurant in walking distance. We will definitely stay there again!

Great getaway!

Our family loved the cottage, it was very clean & exactly as described! The lake was so clear and beautiful! It was the perfect location for a peaceful vacation. Our family enjoyed fishing, kayaking, campfires & playing games. We would definitely recommend to others!

Emerald Lake Vacation

The cottage was very well kept, easy to find and a beautiful location. We felt at home there and were thankful we could bring our dog. We had a question during our stay and they were extremely responsive. The lake was pristine and just our style.

Relaxing Getaway

We stayed with young children and grandparents. Everyone had a great time and was peaceful without a TV! Grilled, fished, and enjoyed the outdoors.

So much fun at Mt Morris Cottage

We had an absolutely beautiful week with the weather and had so much fun on the lake . The cottage has a great layout and accommodates well in space. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. This was our second summer of going here and we will book again!!!

We're glad you had fun. We do work hard to keep the cottage clean and in good repair. We just replaced our aged swim raft with a rehabbed aluminum pontoon style raft. So far, it's making a splash!!

Cozy cabin at the lake

This was a wonderful property. It was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies, had boats galore and was easy to find. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to relax and unwind before the end of summer!

Our family uses The Cottage four our vacations and all the cooking utensils we use are available for our guests. The end of the summer is often very quiet and tranquil. The evenings will predictably cool down to near perfect sleeping temperatures. It makes for great campfire weather on the lakeside patio.
