La nostra casa sul lago si trova su una collina che si affaccia sulla splendida Tennanah Lake (il più grande lago privato nel Catskills). Amiamo la tranquillità serenità di essere in campagna, mentre a soli 10 minuti da negozi e ristoranti Roscoe. Ci piace la casa in tutte le 4 stagioni, ma la nostra stagione preferita è l'estate. Le notti sono generalmente fresco, con ventilatori a soffitto e finestre aperte mantengono abbastanza comodo. Pensiamo che amerete addormentarsi con i suoni di acqua che lambiscono al molo e svegliarsi a grandi albe. Il nostro lago sorgivi è chiara e rinfrescante - perfetto per una giornata nuotata estiva. Cercare le aquile che nidificano sul lago.

Grande pesca - lago Tennanah è fornito con il basso, trote e pesce persico. Siamo anche minuti da flussi di pesca della trota di classe mondiale e parecchi fornitori di Roscoe.

La nostra casa è su una collina, così la splendida vista venire con un po 'ripido sentiero verso l'acqua. Abbiamo un bacino galleggiante e l'acqua diventa profonda rapidamente. Potrebbe non essere adatto per famiglie con bambini molto piccoli o quelli con limitazioni fisiche.

Second time staying with Carol and it was still awesome! Easy communication and very flexible. What a surpise to see the kitchen updated and the garage turned into a wonderful added fun space! The house was very clean and the beds comfy and cozy. The firepit outside is our favorite place at night and to watch the stars but during the day the dock is the place! Just all around spectacular!

This property exceeded all expectations! Carol and John are so lovely and really provided us with absolutely everything we could need or want. Firewood for the fireplace and firepit, an abundance of clean linens and towels, 3 kayaks and a canoe (as well as life jackets and paddles) propane, paper products and cleaning supplies/detergents, and a brand new state of the art, fully stocked kitchen!! All of this and a front row seat to beautiful Lake Tennanah! I almost hate gushing over it because I'd really like to keep it a secret.

Wonderful lake vacation

Such a great property! This is our second time vacationing here, and it is an ideal location, right on the lake. The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation and Carol is extremely communicative. We had another amazing time and would highly recommend!!

Great rtime at the laje

Our group of 8 people enjoyed our stay at the lake. The house was large enough to accomodate everybody comfortably. There were all basic necessities for a great stay. The owner was very responsive. Looking forward to staying there again.

Great trip

The lake access along with the use of kayaks and canoes was fabulous! The kids loved jumping off of the dock and swimming too! The town of Roscoe was a great place to explore (Underground Fashion Outlet, Roscoe Brewing Company, Do Good Spirits, Nif T’s Ice Cream)! This is an absolutely beautiful part of NY state!

House was clean with plenty of room for our group.beautiful views of the lake from multiple decks. Lots of fish caught from the dock or using the kayaks and canoe. Great location to relax with family and friends.

A VERY special place!

In the lake every day, kayaking, golf at the Roscoe Mountain Inn, gourmet dinning tucked in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, watching the fog burn off while being serenaded by birds one early morning, and a full moon trickling across the lake on our last night. This vacation filled my soul!

We had such a wonderful time this weekend! The only thing I’d say to future guests is make sure to bring conditioner if you use it. The lake house is beautiful and we’ll set up for large groups

We had three generations in the house ranging in age from 78 to 13, and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Carol is a wonderful host and the house is exceedingly well equipped. All in all, a wonderful stay. Would return.

Very Nice. Serene

We had a great stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Great that they leave supplies for cleaning, cooking, paper goods, etc. Home could use a bit of upgrading, but it is priced accordingly, so it is still a 5 overall.

Lake House

What a wonderful place to relax in a quiet atmosphere. Everything was great! The host made the experience seamless. The house was nice and being right on the lake was amazing. Plenty to do from fishing to kayaking and games at night. No need to leave the property.

Beautiful spot on a quiet lake!

The bedrooms were very spacious, with multiple beds in two of the rooms. The two decks are very nice, especially the one down by the lake. The house is nice, but could benefit from some updated furniture and a smart TV. It was perfect for our purposes, we went flyfishing in the area for two days, and this was a great homebase. Looking forward to going back!

Fishing weekend with old friends

Carol was an amazing host and the place was a perfect spot for a long weekend away with old friends. The lake house was the perfect launchpad for a spectacular few days of fly fishing the famous local rivers. Fishing in the lake was productive as well. We cooked all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen with all modern appliances. We all had a fantastic time. Thanks Carol!

I grew up on a lake in the Midwest. I loved all the seasons on the lake. We wanted to recreate this experience for our family and have found it with our lakeside retreat.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We were seeking a lakeside home within 2 hours of northern NJ. When we first walked out onto the back deck we knew we had found our idyllic lake home.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our home has spectacular views from the deck outside the 1st floor. We love watching the sunrises and sunsets from our lakeside rooms and 2 decks. My favorite time of day is the golden hour before twilight, when the hillside lights up with gold and rose. Can't beat relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck before dinner.

Tennanah lake is a private lake community with no public access, so it is quiet, even on busy weekends.
