Roque Bluffs State Park si trova a 3 chilometri di distanza con spiaggia di sabbia da calpestare e trascorrere la giornata. Acadia State Park è di 1 ora di distanza per una gita in giornata o pernottamento in campeggio.
La nostra casa ha un grill a gas all'aperto, cucina ben attrezzata, i nostri bagni sono spaziosi e dispone di tutti i comfort. Shampoo, saponi e asciugamani puliti. Teli mare
per la giornata in spiaggia.
Abbiamo una matrimoniale con balcone, una grande camera con un letto matrimoniale e un letto matrimoniale, una camera con un letto matrimoniale e un soppalco con accesso con scala di due letti singoli.

Ci sono vicini, ma tutti sono molto appartata, ognuno di 10 o più ettari.

We rented this home two years ago and couldn’t wait to come back. We have three teen boys and they were excited to return as well. While there are lots of places to explore, it’s hard to leave the serenity of this property. The views are unbeatable and the stars at night are incredible. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. Needless to say - we hope to return for many more stays.

We loved our stay in this little piece of paradise. The easy, secluded shore access felt like a rare privilege. We had a lot of fun climbing the rocks, looking for the most beautiful stones, and making stone soup. Recommend water shoes. The grocery store and a few restaurants weren't too far. The house was generously stocked and communication with the owner was great. Everything was clean and worked well. We didn't have internet during our 5 night stay due to the provider not being able to make it out to troubleshoot (and the remoteness, I'm sure). So keep this in mind if you rely on wifi. Phone reception was also spotty. A nice excuse to unplug and do a puzzle.

I am so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. As to the internet we had a technician come and we found out that they had never taken us off pause for service! Since we are seasonal we shut it down for the winter. Alas, problem solved and everything is working perfectly!!

Family get away

The property is lovely. It is secluded and quiet, which is what we wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location, peaceful atmosphere and private beach. Our granddaughters were also captivated by the two hares that were there feeding on the lawn each day. The location is perfect for privacy but also so close to the state park and other wonderful places to adventure. We would absolutely stay again!

Weekend at the Bluffs

We had a wonderful time at Roque Bluffs. The property was beautiful, just as advertised. The views were magnificent and the sounds of the waves against the shore were so peaceful! We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, private getaway with family!

Amazing property

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying the incredible views and the beautiful beach. It was the most amazing family vacation we've had! The house was spacious and well-equipped. We would recommend this property without hesitation--definitely worth the drive!

Beautiful home nestled in private setting on serene waterfront property. Enjoyed coffee overlooking water, mornings on beach, deer spotting in yard, and nearby hike in Roque Bluffs State Park. Home was extremely comfortable!

Great retreat!

My husband, 10 yr old son, and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful home! The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home and the grounds are perfect for relaxing! We enjoyed hiking the Great Wass Preserve and visiting Machias Seal Island preserve to see the Puffins as well as playing in the cove and relaxing out back.

We had a wonderful stay. We have been to Maine several times and this place was the best. The views are amazing and our kids had so much fun down by the water. The house was clean and comfortable. April was quick to respond when we had questions. We hope to be back!

Absolute beautiful Maine coastal stay

Our family arrived for a way too short 4 days. This fabulous property is pretty remote so I would recommend staying longer! The house and views and property are stunning. We spent most nights cooking wonderful dinners and just hanging out! Loved this property so much and have many hopes to return in a year or two! Communication with host was excellent also!

Family and Friend Vacation

Absolutely beautiful property! Private beach was awesome. Children enjoyed picking wild blueberries all over property. Ask for Cpt. Larry to take you out in the lobster boat. Can’t wait to return.

Downeast Escape

The home was even better than we expected. Ocean views all day, with a short walk to the private beach. The home was amazing, plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of activities. The home had everything we would need and April was extremely responsive. We loved our time in Roques Bluff as we made it our base for visiting various spots along the coast and inland.

Incredible property!

This was an amazing vacation for our little family. The house and the property were just gorgeous- truly unique. We had everything we needed and more. The views from the house were stunning. The house was so special- a beautiful home. The property was situated in one of most beautiful parts of Maine. Our hosts were kind, accessible and easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Down East paradise!

This is for sure a special place. The house is nicely built and furnished with fantastic views from every window. Pictures do not do this property justice! The private beach / cove is amazing and truly unique. The views, the house, the location... All un-matched! Having stayed at more than 30 rental houses and I can confidently say you will not regret staying on this property!

Exactly what we needed

This property is exactly as described. The pictures do not do it justice in regards to location and view. We traveled with two of my adult children, one of their friends, and my mother-in-law. We were more than comfortable. The location was perfect. The house was perfect and April was easily reached for any issues. I am looking forward to returning in the future.

Everything we dreamed of for a Maine escape

We traveled with adult children and their grandmother. The home was perfect for our stay. It is remote and off of the touristy path, which is exactly what we wanted. We opened the windows and enjoyed the cool breeze in early July. We loved exploring the trails near the house and the rocky beach. We could not go to Maine without a lobster boil. We called ahead to a local fisherman and picked up 6 on the 4th of July, and later enjoyed them on the picnic table outside. The smaller kitchen table was perfect for cards and board games. We would love to come back!

Downeast Done Well!

Our yearly vacation to Washington County has never been so comfortable or easy! The communication from booking through trash pickup was timely and professional. Our family uses this vacation to relax and connect with nature and each other. Every review of this property will tell you the same thing… everything you want is in this house already. The details from the quality bedding to the well appointed kitchen is unparalleled. Don’t get me started on the view! I would recommend this home without hesitation.

A Special Place

Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this beautiful house sits in an amazing location! Our family had a great stay in this lovely house that is nestled on top of a cliff overlooking a cove. With access to the cove, the kids were entertained for hours with tidepools, gentle waves, climbing on the rocks, etc. - we had a hard time pulling them away to explore other areas! The house has a great layout, the beds/bedding are very comfortable, the older kids enjoyed the loft area, the house is well stocked with what you need, and the owner is very responsive. Altogether this was a great place to relax and enjoy the last few days of summer. It's also just about an hour away from Campobello Island in NB Canada which was a great place to head for a day trip. We would love to return in the future!

Please come back! I smiled today when I was down at the beach and saw the little piles of stones your children had placed in circles on top of the larger rocks in more than one place. I love to see that our place Is used and enjoyed, especially by children, we believe it is rather special place.

for over 35 years. We live in a very country like town, really
more like a village. We live on 6 acres.

Since we live in a rural environment, when we looked for property
privacy was very important to us and of course, when we saw
our views, since we are right on the ocean there was no doubt
where we should be. We love our property and we have fabulous
friends that we know here in Maine. Feel very blessed.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our home is very nice (we added new appliances and granite
countertops in the kitchen) and basically tried to decorate it
as a beautiful cottage with a simplicity that would be appealing
and comfortable. Our bedding done with quality and lots of pillows
to make your nights sleep like home. I tell guests just bring your clothes and stop to get food we have everything else waiting for you!!
