La nostra casa si trova su un registro 'alto punto che si affacciano bella Alexander Lake offrano a 180 gradi l'acqua vista panoramica a 15.

Soffitti cattedrale sia il soggiorno e la cucina, ognuna con il suo magnifico camino in pietra nativa, aggiungere alla bellezza di questo lungolago vacanza serena.

In inverno concedervi sorseggiando una cioccolata calda davanti al caminetto a leggere un grande libro, o passeggiare lungo una strada di campagna in una mattina gelida. In estate godere di nuoto, canottaggio e pesca a destra dal molo privato dove si ha il sole tutto il pomeriggio fino al tramonto. In autunno Vista spettacolare destro Caduta fogliame dalla vostra sala da pranzo come lei lo sguardo attraverso il lago al bellissimo cambio delle foglie, o prendere una strada panoramica su una delle strade di campagna del New England. Tutto l'anno godere di spettacolari tramonti.

Il casale è stato completamente ristrutturato. Ci sono due camere da letto, una con letto matrimoniale e una con un letto full-size, più un divano letto nel soggiorno. La cucina è completamente attrezzata.

Il 'CORNER TRANQUILLITA' è considerato da molti come Nuova Inghilterra Antiquing Capitale. Siamo a 40 minuti a Providence, 45 minuti a Hartford, e 55 minuti a Boston. Mohegan Sun e Foxwood Casino sono 30 minuti di distanza.

Absolutely lovely little cottage on Lake Alexander!! My husband and my daughter and myself had a lovely stay on the lake. Great communication with the hosts. Would recommend 100%!!!!

Great Lake house

Clean quiet cabin on an exceptionally clear lake. Great for relaxing, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys water activities with their family. Nice restaurants and shopping close by.

Plan to come back as often as we can

We loved staying at Sunset Point and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful views of a lovely little lake. The home was warm and comfortable. Nothing beats a cup of coffee on the deck with that view!

wonderful mornings and evenings. Enjoyed peaceful kayaking and sunsets. Kitchen is well equipped and the all window wall facing the lake is amazing! Was warm during our stay, and even though no air conditioning, the many provided fans, ceiling fans and cross breeze off the lake made kept it enjoyable. Excellent access to both the highway and the town centers nearby.

Great memories

Homey, comfortable cabin on the lake. Wonderful waterfront. Felt like we were visiting a friend’s home. The owners were genuinely concerned that we enjoyed their home. I hope they’ll have us again.

Family Wedding

Jane’s Home was just what we were looking for to bring the family all together for my daughter’s wedding and it turns out my sister was staying right next door…what a magical weekend!!! Weather was perfect and Lake was serene….Picture Perfect!!

Beautiful long weekend at the lake!

We loved this place!! Kids had a blast fishing on the row boat and using the kayaks. We swam and lounged all weekend while we were there for a wedding in Woodstock. The house is lovely and has everything you need. Very comfortable and cool. Thank you for the beautiful memories! Jane is a wonderful host and very responsive. Hope to visit again soon.

(Almost) Quiet Corner

This lovely and well-appointed lakeside cottage is located in what is known as Connecticut's Quiet Corner. And although the lake is lovely and motorboat and jet ski free/quiet, a busy street, freight trains, and a very close neighbor's a.c. are not!

End of Summer Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house over Labor Day and were able to completely relax the following week with good food and shopping nearby. We did find a bees nest under the deck when we got there, but after contacting Jane she had someone come out to deal with that issue and it was not a problem the rest of the week. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed everything about being on the water especially the use of kayaks and floats as it turned out to be a hot week! The sunsets were amazing as advertised and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely lake cottage with amazing views!

This lake cottage was perfect for our family of four for nearly two weeks this summer. By the end of our stay, the house truly felt like home. Jane was a wonderful host who was very responsive. The house itself is older and has some wear, but honestly this adds to its charm (save for a few issues that were promptly addressed). Our family also fell in love with Alexander Lake, and hope to return next summer. The lake is peaceful and wonderful for swimming and kayaking. The house has no AC but we were hardly ever without a wonderful breeze coming off the lake, and rarely got hot. The grill does need some attention- we could only ever get one burner to light which made it a bit hard to cook out. Overall, my only hesitation in writing this review is concern that the house will become harder and harder to book. We already plan on returning next summer. ❤️

Comfortable, Cozy Great Location

This was the perfect spot for a few relaxed days before dropping our son at school. Well appointed, clean with great views. Water temp was great for swimming. I would say the pics don’t do it justice, better in person. Host very helpful and responsive sharing local tips etc.

Wonderful views and great property!

The property is right on the lake with stunning views from the dock and deck. Enough room for the whole family and access to kayaks which were great to explore the lake. It was a bit warm during our stay but the afternoon sun was blocked by all the surrounding trees. The owners were very responsive and accommodating for our stay. Highly recommend!

Great Cottage on Lovely Lake

The cottage is wonderful for hosting a few family members and friends and having a few sleep over. The outside could use a little TLC but the upkeep needed doesn't interfere with having a great time. The lake is beautiful as is the view of it from the cottage. It can be a bit noisy with the trains going by in the morning but they didn't run all day nor during the night. I'd definitely stay again.

Great place, spectacular view. Sunset right from the porch.

We stayed here to be closer to the Brimfield fair for four days and had a wonderful time. There was everything you need there. The host was very communicative and there’s a lot of places nearby for supplies. Ample parking and beautiful middle of the room gas fireplace.

Lake Getaway

We had a wonderfully cozy stay with a beautiful panoramic lake view that you can enjoy any time of day. The host was very nice to provide kayaks for us even though it was a bit too early in the season. Enjoying the lake from the water is one of our favorite memories. The interior of the house has a nice homey feel, and the central fireplace is a very interesting feature. It provides the heating for the house and is very easy to operate while still retaining the rustic charm. A great stay that we recommend!

Charming Lake House Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this warm & cozy lake house. One of our favorite things is the massive two-sided stone fireplace central to the home. Evenings by a fire, waking up to beautiful lake views — all made for a magical stay!

Beautiful Lake

Excellent! We enjoyed the cottage, the lake, the views, the kayaks, the fishing and the swimming in the crystal clear water. The cottage was comfy, cozy and we loved the cool breeze off the lake every evening! Heavenly!

Beautiful view on quiet lake

Deck gets shade virtually all day so you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake, including the property’s dock. Exactly as pictured and described. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Easy highway access.
