The house was great. Plenty of space! Bedding was great too. Furniture in man in room needs to be updated. No comfy and was old and worn.

The house was lovely and just as advertised. Location is great with easy walking access to both the shuttle and Elk Street. We would rent here again.

Great Location

We stayed for a week and had a great time. This house is in the perfect location. It is a few short blocks to Elk Ave and on a quiet street with great trail access.

Crested Butte has clearly evolved to have extremely high real-estate and property values. We were astonished that to get a place - for myself and my dad and my dog - in a stand alone house, in town, we’d be paying 1000/night. I’m grateful my dad could make that arrangement work but honestly we expected some nicer amenities for the cost. This is an older cabin with older appliances etc…all fine but maybe some upgrades like non-plastic furniture and a dining set to eat outside would be nice. The white lightbulbs were harsh on the eyes and from the downstairs middle bedroom I was awoken very early by all of the water pipes as my dad was on a different time zone and woke before me. It was very loud! The location is absolutely fabulous and very peaceful. We LOVED the quiet there, being able to walk to trails and town and the river. Absolutely gorgeous. Surprised there isn’t a porch in front of the house with those mountain views! The paper towel holder is also plastic and junk and didn’t work. I’d say for the price of this place some upgrades would REALLY make the value more worth while - rather than just the location alone! Thank you!

4th of July Fun!

This house is amazing. The dead end street, and absolutely stunning views from it, is spectacular.Family from 5 states came together here for the week of the 4th and had a fantastic time. Thank you so much for this gift! We plan to be back!

Great home for ski trip!!

Couple with 2 grandkids stayed for 5 nights. Very nice, cozy home for our group. 3 other family members were staying nearby, and when we dined together, we had plenty of room at the large dining table. Fireplace made the "hang out" area warm & comfy.

Nice house in a great location for Nordic skiing and catching the bus to the mountain.

We would definitely stay here again. Comfy beds and everything you need. We were there for the super bowl and would have liked a big tv, but that was the only thing missing (maybe we're spoiled). The property management company was very helpful and accommodated our special requests.

Repeat Renter! Will not rent again despite location/pet policy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been visiting Crested Butte since 1994, and we have stayed at this property 3–4 times over the past ~10 years, most recently for 2 weeks in August. Unfortunately, after this stay, we would not rent it again.POSITIVES:Excellent location Pet friendly, very hard to find!Large + mudroom & hot tubAt more than $15,000 for 2 weeks, the condition of everything does not justify the price. Having stayed here repeatedly, it is clear that little, if anything, has been updated.NEGATIVES:Several windows have no screens, including low windows accessible to children/pets; bugs and bees came insideHumidifiers (x3) didn't work, had dirty/moldy filtersKitchen appliances + supplies are very outdatedShower door was broken on arrival and repaired on day 4Refrigerator was not cooling; some food spoiled. Management provided a used mini fridge until repairedPillows are extremely flat/worn; bring your own!Bunk room mattresses are very hard, need replacing Water heater went out, though management responded within an hourLiving room TV is so small (~24")Area rugs had mud/dog-like stainsBunk & guest rooms are so small, little space for a Pack ’n Play or pet bedBunk bed sits away from the walls & cannot be moved (heavy), making the room even smallerStair treads are unusually narrow; several people missed the bottom step in the dark and fellImportantly, the property management company was excellent—responsive and attentive. Great Location

We were in town for the ultra marathon with our adult children who are runners. Due to dietary needs we cooked at the house quite a bit. Took a few minutes to figure out the older stove, but once we did it worked just fine. This property is in a great convenient location, it is a short walk to downtown. I recommend you bring your own pillows, other that that everything was fine. The property manager was very helpful.

Fireplace wasn't working upon arrival but property management responded quickly with directions to relite the pilot light. The only recommendation would be more towels. We found 8 towel and there were 8 people so we ended up doing laundry so we had towels for the hot tub. Overall excellent!!

Adequate but there is a lot better in cb

Location is very good in a quiet section of town. Overall the house is small. There are three bedrooms but they are quite small. One bedroom cannot even accommodate a nightstand. The bedroom with the bunks is also small with one tall dresser and bunks. No floor space at all. "Master" bedroom has a tv on the dresser as well as a lamp. I think the owners need to scale down the western inspired furniture. Master bath isn't glamorous-shower curtain and fiberglass shell. Pillows in bedrooms need to be replaced. Upstairs living space is adequate. TV is a bit small for the size of the living room. Only 2 electric burners on stove. Says it sleeps 8 but only does so if 2 are willing to sleep on the futon which is out in the open on the first floor. Not in a room with a door. A bit disappointed this year. I have been renting in cb since 1993.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the neighborhood. I'd like to respond to your comment regarding that there are only two burners on the stove at 310, as your findings are incorrect. The griddle unit on the stove unplugs and there are two more burners that can be inserted where the griddle is located -- The two additional burners (in one unit) are there in a drawer in the kitchen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, right downtown and close to shuttle up to the mtn, on a quiet dead-end street. The house is spacious and very clean. I liked staying here and have only a few things I'd change/didn't like- The mattresses were old and not comfortable both on the top bunk bed and in the master. The master has a queen.. it could benefit from a new mattress with a bigger bed. It was not easy to grill as the charcoal grill (no obvious bag of charcoal, although they told me ahead of time when I inquired to let them know if I wanted them to drop some off) was on the ground level on the wooden deck and the kitchen was on the 2nd level, where there was also a wooden deck. The dishwasher is loud and inefficient as it ran for many many hours.

The interior is spacious and adequate in size for our family of 4. The log furniture however, is uncomfortable. The comfort could be increased by the addition of cushions on these very hard chairs. The TV screen is smallish.
