Located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and minutes from Weaverville, this space offers the perfect balance of access and escape, close to restaurants, breweries, and the River Arts District, while still providing a quiet, peaceful place to unwind. The studio is ideal for guests who appreciate design, character, and a stay that feels a little different. Inside, you’ll find a bright, open living area with comfortable seating, a cozy king bedroom designed for restful nights, a fully equipped kitchenette for simple meals and morning coffee, a dining area for relaxing or planning your day, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub and fresh towels provided. Unique artwork and creative touches are woven throughout, along with a thoughtful doggy kit to help your pup feel at home. The painted plywood floors, artistic walls, and eclectic details reflect the building’s creative past and are part of what makes this stay special.

The property sits on a private, quiet road overlooking 50+ acres of rolling hills with long-range views, just 5 minutes from historic Weaverville where you can walk to local eateries, galleries, and small-town charm, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, nearby breweries, and local art spots. It’s also walkable to Emerald Ridge Wedding Venue and just a 3-minute drive to JuneBug Retro Resort. Good to know: well-behaved dogs are welcome (and leashed outside at all times), and it’s designed for relaxing stays rather than parties or events, with easy, flexible self check-in, this is also a nonsmoking property.

Enjoyed my stay at The Art Studio. It was so artsy, fun and different than a typical rental. It is a very dog friendly space, which was very nice. My dog and I were able to relax and enjoy the area. Quick responses from the owner and would definitely come back if coming back to the Asheville area.

This home was created with so much intention and creativity! While it is not only a fun, exciting place to experience, the attention to detail went above and beyond. Everything you could think of was provided; from local recs, to home items, to even a little art room. It felt incredibly welcoming and Kara was a great host. Will definitely book again next time we're in the area!

I absolutely adored this space! The owner put a lot of fun little details in The Art Studio. We enjoyed creating art in the art room, going through the books that are available, records and games :) 10/10 recommend!

This area offers the best of both worlds... quiet, scenic, and peaceful, while still being just minutes from Weaverville and a short drive to Asheville. I love the balance of mountain views, open space, and easy access to great food, local art, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It feels tucked away, but never disconnected.

The Art Studio is exactly that... a former creative space turned stay. From the painted floors to the artistic details, it has a personality you won’t find in a typical rental. It’s designed to feel cozy, inspiring, and a little different, with thoughtful touches throughout (including for your dog). It’s a place to slow down, recharge, and maybe even feel a little more creative while you’re here.
