Nestled at 9,000 ft in the Colorado pines, Atelier Escape is a design-forward A-frame sanctuary built for people who want their mountain escape to actually restore them. Soaring cathedral ceilings, dramatic mountain views, and an Organic Modern interior — raw wood, clean lines, nothing unnecessary.

A note on summer comfort: our cabin sits at mountain elevation where evenings cool down considerably — opening the windows with the provided fans keeps every room comfortable, and the lower level stays naturally cool on its own. We've never needed air conditioning. Central heating keeps things cozy all winter.

We stayed for a week for a family get away. This property is truly beautiful serene. The mountain views are amazing! A couple of mornings we woke up to deer below the deck. We cannot recommend this home enough!P.s. don’t forget to feed the hummingbirds. They are adorable!

Our stay was absolutely first class. Hosts were outstanding with any requests and did so many little things to make their guests feel special and welcome. Description of the house doesn't even do it justice. Views are amazing and outdoor entertainment was all we could ask for! You will not be disappointed! You can definitely tell they put their heart and soul into the property with so much detail.

That same curiosity has taken us around the world. We love getting lost in new cities, sitting down to meals we can't pronounce, and learning how different cultures approach the simple things, food, family, hospitality, rest. Every trip leaves us with something we want to bring home, and Atelier Escape is where a lot of those inspirations have landed.

This cabin started as a personal love letter to A-frame architecture and the alpine landscape we grew up admiring. Tucked into the Colorado pines at 9,000 feet, just an hour from Denver, it's designed to feel like an exhale, soaring ceilings, dramatic mountain views, and Organic Modern interiors layered with warm textures and quiet sophistication. We wanted a space that felt elevated without ever feeling precious. Somewhere you can show up in hiking boots and a snow-dusted jacket and immediately feel at home.

The wellness experience is the heart of it. After a long day in the mountains, guests unwind in the Himalayan salt room, reset in the sauna, and soak under the stars in the hot tub. These aren't add-ons, they're how we designed the rhythm of a stay. Adventure by day, restoration by night.

We host because we love watching people arrive tense and leave restored. We've poured a lot of intention into every detail, the linens, the lighting, the coffee setup, the views from each window because we know how rare a true reset is. Bailey sits in one of Colorado's most underrated mountain corridors, quiet, scenic, and surrounded by some of the best wilderness access in the Front Range. The cabin is just minutes from the Mount Blue Sky Wilderness (formerly Mount Evans), and the peak itself is visible from every floor of the house. Watching the light shift across it through the day is something we never get tired of.

The area is a true year-round playground. World-class fly fishing on the North Fork of the South Platte, miles of hiking and biking trails, and quick access to some of Colorado's most iconic alpine drives. In winter, you're a straightforward route to several ski resorts without the I-70 chaos.
