Literally a hop, skip and jump from lake Champlain. The cottage was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. There weren't any logins for the TV (and of course I had forgotten mine) but the lake view made up for it! When i did have a question about putting out the garbage, it was answered quickly! We hope to visit again in warmer weather.

Lovely place. The lake is beautiful and the house is charming and well-kept. The screened-in patio is a big bonus and there is another patio with a grill and outdoor seating. Kayaks were a wonderful addition.Highly recommend.

There was so much to love about this property. The proximity to the lake and the bike path was great and the neighbors were all so nice! We loved the views of both the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks from the nearby beach. The house, although small, had everything we needed and the furniture was the most comfortable of any place we have stayed (although the bed in the master bedroom was a little high making it somewhat tough to get into for a person with short legs). I spent some time on the screened porch and the deck where I enjoyed just relaxing and watching the sailboarders cruising across the lake and the hummingbirds and bumble bees who were drawn to the nearby flowers. I loved the decor and there were so many interesting books … I just wish our stay was long enough to have done some reading. I did contact Vacasa about a couple of small things and once the local property manager was contacted, they were very understanding and responsive. My husband and I are hoping to be able to rent this place again when the weather is a little warmer so we can spend some time in the water.

Beautiful location, clean house, very well equipped kitchen, no dishwasher but well equipped with brand new sponge and plenty of dish soap!Comfortable linens and seating. Efficient bathroom layout with separate doors to the toilet and shower. Difficult entry door lock, which did not always work for us. Tricky lighting, most light lights had pull chains. Short people cannot reach pull chains easily. Confusion with pull chains ,which is for light and which is for fans? These were small inconveniences which did not detract from the overall exqusite experience! Huge living dining room was wonderful for various activities to happen at once.

Really nice stay in a beautiful location. The house was a quick set of stairs away from a beautiful beach and we loved the kayaks and beach equipment that came with the house. The house also had a ton of toys, books, games for the kids, etc. We enjoyed it and we will definitely be back.
