This rental was wonderful. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. It was so clean you could eat off the floors. It was very inviting and close to just about anything you'd want to do around the lake. Nice porch in the front and deck in the back. We completely enjoyed the experience and would definitely rent this house again.

It was such a pleasure to host Belinda and her family. Communication was spot on, they totally respected all house rules and left our home clean and tidy. We highly recommend them to other hosts and would happily welcome them back anytime!

The entire place was totally immaculate, oh my. As I told the host, perhaps only rent to adults..with vintage furnishings and white couches, it's not suited for young children. In fact, we adults were very uncomfortable as it was like staying in a museum. Sadly, all this beauty detracted from what we'd hoped to be a "family" get away.

We take great pride in maintaining out home's unique vintage character, which we feature prominently in our listing description and photos so guests know exactly what to expect prior to booking. While we want guests to feel comfortable, we also have to balance and prioritize property care. During this stay, an indoor bedroom lamp was moved outside onto the back deck during inclement weather. We kindly asked for it to be brought back indoors to protect the vintage item and it's electrical components from potential weather damage. We standardly ask guests to respect the indoor furnishings so the property remains safe and in top condition for everyone.

The home is extremely clean, cozy, esthetically pleasing and welcoming. The beds are comfortable with cozy linens- you might just sleep too much. The combination of the modern, intertwined with details from the history of the home makes for a pleasing decor. Especially the beautiful woodwork and lighting choices. Details are definitely a part of the draw of this home: from the choice of handsoap; to the linens; to the coffee selection. Even the back yard with a firepit is relaxing. Located just close enough to the shore to enjoy the lake, and just far enough away not to get caught up in the noise there. We would definitely stay here again.
