Relax and unwind at our cozy 3-bedroom lakefront cabin on beautiful Cedar Lake in Star Prairie, Wisconsin. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or an outdoor adventure, this is the perfect place to enjoy all that lake life has to offer.

Cedar Lake is an 1,120-acre recreational lake located in Polk & St. Croix counties with a max depth of 32 feet and a public boat launch 1/2 mile away. It's perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, and swimming. Anglers will enjoy excellent fishing for musky, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the popular sandbar or boat over to Meister's Grill & Bar for great food and drinks.

Nature lovers will appreciate the abundant wildlife. Deer, foxes, wild turkeys, and even the occasional black bear can be spotted nearby. Wake each morning to the sounds of loons, bald eagles, woodpeckers, and a variety of songbirds.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Somerset and New Richmond, and just under one hour from the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area, this cabin offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.

We absolutely loved our stay. What started as a simple family weekend at the lake turned into one of those trips we’ll remember for a long time.Our boys practically lived on the dock. They fished for hours, celebrated every catch like it was a trophy fish, and couldn’t wait to get back out there the next morning. We cooked what they caught, spent our evenings by the water, and genuinely enjoyed just being together without needing an itinerary or much of anything else.There’s something special about this place. It’s peaceful, comfortable, and has that classic Wisconsin lake feel that makes you slow down almost immediately. By the end of the weekend, none of us was ready to leave.In fact, we enjoyed it so much that the drive home turned into a conversation about finding a lake property of our own someday. I think that’s probably the best compliment we can give.Thank you for sharing your place with our family. We made some great memories here and would absolutely come back.

It's the perfect balance—close enough for a day of shopping or a night out, yet far enough away to return to peaceful evenings by the lake, star-filled skies, and mornings filled with birdsong instead of city traffic.
