Decor was interesting and quirky. Lighting could and should be improved at top of stairs. Lighting in kitchen could also be improved. A new set of pots/pans would be a welcome addition. Shower fixtures are adequate but could also be improved upon. Although, overall, the place was clean, kitchen drawers and bedroom cupboards could do with a cleaning. Beds were comfortable. Location was quiet and ideal for our needs. Both host and owner were accommodating and friendly.

Thank you for your review and suggestions! I did notice it was quite dim at the top of the stairs. In fact, one of the 2 bulbs had burnt out! I wish you had told me as I would have happily replaced it while you were here. Maybe next time?

The house was very clean and located in a great location (near a park and within walking distance to restaurants, etc.). The beds were comfortable and accommodated our family perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the front porch and back deck were both perfect for relaxing. The hosts were friendly and helpful and provided a detailed tour of the house and amenities before leaving us to settle in.

Our family of 10 found Carlo's home perfect. We had a great kitchen that was exceptionally well-supplied for cooking. The back deck was a perfect gathering place for dinner and late-night conversations. The bedrooms were setup nicely so all had comfortable beds. Our well-traveled 16-year old grandson commented that all the beautiful artwork made it the most interesting place he had ever stayed.The location was close to public transportation and food options. We had a most wonderful time, and Carlo was a perfect host. Check-was a breeze. I particularly appreciated the manager as he contacted me about a left-behind pair of sandals (which were mine, not the children's) and is graciously sending them to me. We would definitely book this home again if we return to Vancouver.

This house is the perfect fit for any stay in Vancouver. Location is on a beautiful street; close enough to access the bus and the metro easily. Thoughtful touches are all over the house, like extra umbrellas at the door. The house is like staying at home; comforting and full of anything you could think of needing. I look forward to staying every time!

Vancouver stay

We thought this house was wonderful! We loved the location and the neighborhood! It is also in a very convenient area and it was easy to get to almost anywhere we wanted to go. We had great communication with the owners and the property manager before and during our stay and they made the whole process very easy.
