The property is isolated and very ssfe and comfortable for me and my dog. Waking up, we could hear only the nearby cows. This is an exceptionally dark area and provides fantastic stargazing opportunties. The mattress is old and collapsed, however, and aging window screens allow some insects inside. While I had some difficulty entering the property and getting the heating running, customer service was very prompt.

Wonderful first stay at this hidden gem tiny home!My wife and I just finished a fantastic 4-night stay here, and we highly recommend it! The house was super clean, well-stocked with plenty of pillows and towels, and the kitchen was the perfect size for the two of us.It is a cozy tiny home, but having both a bedroom and a sleeping loft was an added bonus for us—we used the downstairs bedroom to store our luggage and clothes and used the loft for sleeping, which worked out perfectly.The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, surrounded by quiet farmland. We got a huge kick out of watching the cows graze in the field across the way or sit under the trees right from the living room window, and we even spotted a groundhog a few times!Location-wise, you couldn't ask for better. You are only about 15–20 minutes from downtown Watkins Glen, and the drive in is lined with incredible wineries and distilleries. Having a Dandy's (mini-mart) just 5 minutes away at the main road was another great convenience. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and apologize for the sulfur-like smell, which can occur in well water after rain or changes in the water table. The water is safe to use, and running the faucets usually helps. We hope to host you again.

Weekend away

My boyfriend and I booked this place and couldn’t have been happier! The cabin was extremely cozy and clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway! The location was very close and convenient to many wineries and local hiking trails. We will absolutely be back again!

Great stay!

We stayed in this tiny home for a friends weekend. The location was private and perfect. Came as advertised but so well stocked and well kept! My younger dog was just diagnosed with cancer and this was likely his last trip so it was a wonderful memory for us to share.

Excellent location

Located right up the road from some great wineries. Walked down the hill to The Red NewCellars. Easy drive into Watkins Glen and wineries on east Seneca. Check in was a breeze. We will definitely be back.

Total Perfection

This was a home away from home with beautiful views! Look no further than this spot. All you need to bring is your packed bags and four legged friends. This home is clean and perfectly located for all your serenity needs. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again for sure.

Clean and Cozy

The place was clean and cozy. The stairs to the 2nd bedroom are steep. Exactly as described in the listing. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed all the nature! We were close to everything but felt in our own little world.

Cute place !

Very private and cozy , only downfall was the shower lost hot water after 5 min . Wife said she would go back again if hot water issue gets fixed .

The surface of the stove was slightly greasy on arrival. Otherwise everything was very clean. The water has a strong sulfur odor.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place, perfect area, very clean. We arrived on a chilly damp afternoon and they had the cabin all warmed up for us! Only issue was the hot water. My husband took a shower first and lost hot water in less than 5 minutes. That would be the only thing to improve.

The place was well equipped with supplies and was in a good location. The only issue is hot water runs out very quick. One person can take a short shower. This needs to be fixed ASAP as it’s not comfortable.

Hector home

Small cottage-like cabin in Hector, great location for wine tasting. Short ceilings so would not recommend for tall guests. Steep stairs up to the second floor. No interaction with host upon booking.

Lovely stay near Seneca lake

Peaceful stay with my boyfriend and dog. Comfortable cabin that is well stocked and clean!! Matches pictures and descriptions. Location is so great, convenient drive to the towns of Ithaca, Watkins glen, Geneva. Next to plenty of beautiful wineries with views!! Highly recommend. Beware the stairs to the second (bigger) bedroom is quite steep. Also the Internet is not great for streaming (our Netflix movie froze and we couldn't finish).

Great Location and Cozy Treehouse

Three of us shared the larger treehouse, and it was the perfect size! The upstairs loft is a large room with space for an extra air mattress, and the downstairs bedroom is small but totally adequate. The kitchen was decent sized and fully stocked, so we saved money by cooking a few meals there. There's a communal firepit outside, and we had a nice time getting to know the guests from the other treehouse. We even got to see the Northern Lights one night! The location is just rural enough to feel secluded but also close to the main road with lots of wineries, breweries, and restaurants. It's also a short drive to Watkins Glen. The only downside was that the shower ran low on hot water, so we had to take short showers. I would totally recommend this place!

A Lovely Little Gem

Nicely located on a hillside surrounded by nature. So peaceful. And the fireflies, oh the fireflies! Like hundreds of little sparkling stars. Not 1 minute from your first winery at the bottom of the hill, some good local eateries and only 20 minutes from Watkins Glen. Sweet little place for no more than 4 adults and a great place for the dog. Tried to introduce him to the cows across the street. They were very curious about him, but he was having none of it. The only drawback to the house was very limited hot water. That wouldn't keep me from staying there again, though. Comfy beds, cozy place. Very much enjoyed our time there.

Five-Star Review for Seneca Lake Serenity

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Seneca Lake Serenity! The location is perfect—peaceful, secluded, yet so close to Seneca Lake and Watkins Glen. If you’re into outdoor activities, you’ll love the nearby hiking trails and the easy access to the lake for boating. Plus, the area is filled with fantastic wineries and breweries, which made for some wonderful day trips. The cabin itself is cozy and well-maintained. The warm lighting and modern touches made it feel like a home away from home. The deck was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, and we loved using the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the grill was a bonus for enjoying outdoor cooking. We also appreciated the convenience of having a washer and dryer, especially after hiking and spending time on the lake. The smart TV and free WiFi were great for winding down after a day of exploring. The house is dog-friendly, and our two pups felt right at home! The property had ample space for them to run around, and it’s always a plus to find a place that welcomes well-behaved dogs. Overall, everything was well-organized, from the easy check-in process with the digital lock to the clear communication from the management team. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Seneca Lake.
