Martha was great. The cabin was beautiful and very well equipped with loads of dishes, pots and pans, coffee, tea, salt, pepper and toiletries. I would recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Directions were easy to follow to the cabin and any communication with Martha was answered right away. Look forward to visiting again.

Martha was a great host and the cabin was really cool, rustic, but with all the modern amenities. Our puppy Bandit loved the outdoors and the nature. If we are out this way again we will definitely try to book it again.

Property is always clean and love that we can bring our two King Shepherds .Very private spot with modern amenities added to make the stay comfortable …love the birdwatching and always see deer both on the woodland trails and grassland trails…love the distant train sounds and the coyotes calling at night…have returned numerous times and always leave feeling relaxed …so near and yet so far…perfect !

Everything was clear, clean, and easy. We had a great stay. The hosts obviously go above and beyond with their rental property. This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that actually stocked a sharp knife in the kitchen instead of an extremely dull one that you can barely chop with!

As always, our stay at this beautiful property was exactly what we were looking for. Its clean, well equipped, comfortable and very private. We were able to bring our indoor cat with us and he loved the cottage!We have returned here for several years now because we consistently have a wonderful experience. Bonus points for seeing wildlife, particularly the bird migration.

Have returned many times and each visit is unique.Martha is a wonderfully gracious host .The cabin is always clean and so warm and cosy .Love the modern amenities mixed with heritage charm . The trails are well kept and our 2 King Shepherds love to explore them. We hope to have many more stays at Maggie’s Hill. It’s an experience we cherish .

Lots of character, snug in the winter

Our family really enjoyed their stay. Very comfortable and well supplied cabin with lots of character. We visited provincial and national parks nearby.

Awesome, cozy and quiet! A great getaway.

We had a great time in this cozy log cabin. The view of birds, and moose just outside the door was amazing. We liked all the comfort Martha provided for our stay.

Excellent quiet cabin

It was exactly as advertised and the host was very responsive. Clear and easy to understand directions were given. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the antique touches were lovely.

Beautiful Loghouse

Museum and book lovers will adore this place! As well as having wonderful screened in decks to read, relax and chat in there were so many details to discover every day. The grounds were wonderful with many trails to wander around in. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Old-Timey Cabin!

We had a fantastic, relaxing stay. Was primarily for the purpose of snowshoeing, which was amazing... lots of fresh snow and amazing trails that start right behind the cabin. The cabin itself is great... comfy and well-equipped.
