Accogliente 1 BR, 1 bagno con camino a gas, cucina completa e un sacco di divertimento nella splendida Leadville, Colorado. Recentemente ristrutturato e aggiornato. Nuova vernice interna ed esterna, nuovi armadi, lavastoviglie, smaltimento dei rifiuti, finestre e ventilatori a soffitto! Questa casa è perfetta per un ritiro di coppia o una vacanza in famiglia! Non dimenticare il cane però, adoreranno il grande recintato nel cortile sul retro. Questa è una casa storica che originariamente era situata presso la miniera di Climax e trasferita (come la maggior parte delle case a West Park) intorno al 1960. Siamo in posizione centrale a un'ora di auto da alcuni resort di classe mondiale. Perché combattere il traffico su 70, o pagare tariffe troppo care per rimanere nella Contea di Summit? Questa casa si trova a 15 minuti da Ski Cooper, a 25 minuti da Copper, a 55 minuti da Vail, Breckenridge e Keystone, 1 ora dal bacino di Arapahoe e 1:15 da Monarch. Si tratta di un breve tragitto in auto o circa 1 miglio a piedi dal centro per cibo e bevande. Email per la disponibilità o controllare VRBO per il calendario aggiornato. Sigarette non fumatori. Pros:Location is pretty good. Nice walkable and quiet neighborhood. Backyard is very large and fenced. Our dogs loved it.Mostly well-stocked. He had nearly everything we needed, but running very low on soap.Check in was very smooth.Cons:Smaller than I expected. A lot of the areas are pretty tight to move through.Toilet is only a couple feet from the bed.It's a pretty old place and looks dirty even when clean.Overall it was fine, but for the price I don't think I would stay here again. It was just too cramped for us.

This house was the perfect place for a getaway with our dog. The location was close to great hikes and all the restaurants, shops, etc. The backyard is HUGE and was a relaxing place to hang out and enjoy our meals. The house was also priced lower than all other dog friendly places we looked at. It is an authentic Leadville property. As some other reviews said, there's some peeling paint and scratches on wood-but not a big deal. However it's a fun, clean, well stocked, quiet cabin with a comfortable bed!

It was nice and quiet. I however did trip 3x on the brick pad for the fireplace. I did enjoy the fireplace and the place was fully stocked with essentials.

Single bedroom and bathroom little cottage that was cozy enough for all of us. Bringing the dogs was an added bonus, as they loved the big backyard. Plenty of amenities, so we had nothing to worry about. Even with the couple things we forgot.The electric fireplace warmed the entire place up efficiently at night. While also having the fans in each room helped during the day.I didn't dock this review, nor the host, for this but, be careful of the clawfoot bathtub/shower. Its designed for smaller people. I'm 6'3" 250lbs and it was tight. While having the inner liner constantly sticking to me, having nothing to hold onto to wash the lower half or set anything on. So that was something to navigate. I knew about the tub prior but have never been in one before. So, it was an experience for the wife and I.Great overall trip and experience though.Minor things need attention at the house. Back door handle loose. Front door keypad a little tricky but finally got it going. No poopbags in the refill station he had by the back door, but we had plenty on hand. Also, we picked up more than what our boys dropped.

The house is cozy and well stocked. It's location is close to Turquoise Lake where we spend our time. I loved the firepit and having a bed to sleep on was excellent!

Cozy Cabin

Our stay was wonderful at this cabin. The place was clean and comfortable with an easy check in and out process. We brought our dog up for a ski weekend and the place accomadated a dog nicely with a great big backyard and lots of walking trails nearby. We came up in subzero temperature so we didnt ski much but Brian was super helpful and let us checkin early due to the cold. Great communication and fast responses! so

Leadville 2020

The property location is very good to drive off and fish. Our only complaint is the television. It was advertised as having tv, it was spotty at best and after the power failure last night, tv was nonexistent. Normally it wouldn't matter, but last night was game 3 in the playoffs. Nice location, clean, we would stay here again.

This is an older little house. Clean and everything you need to settle in on your vacation. My complaint is withe the hidden fees taking a $104 per night stay to $170. Once you choose this property from Expedia, they are no help with issues that arise and refer you to a property managers phone number which has no voice mail and is never answered. Believe me I tried many times.

One of my favorites for sure I will be back

I came with a friend to stay in Leadville to participate in a dog event. This house was perfect it had a fenced backyard for the dogs and everything we could’ve wanted in it. It’s cute and quaint and it absolutely embodies the spirit of Leadville. It has everything we could’ve wanted to make our stay feel at home. A responsive host a great neighborhood you can walk around in and it’s very quiet. Best bang for the buck! It’s charm is it’s best quality! The only thing is maybe the cookwear could be updated....but when realized we forgot some spices we were happy to see that there were some in the cabinets and they weren’t outdated.

Not clean at all

Property is in serious need of some love. Also better cleaning schedule as we walked into dirty washcloth in the shower, bed not made, comforter on the floor by the washing machine and floors not swept or vacuumed. If we pay a cleaning fee, I expect to come into a clean place and not be grossed out by someone else's dirt. Oh and dishwasher full of someone else's dishes.

Again as I stated in our conversations, I wish you would have let me know once you arrived as I would have fixed the issue right away. There was a miscommunication with my cleaning crew and the house was not cleaned. I refunded 100% of your money and am disappointed to get a review this bad. You stayed in the house and didn’t contact me. I strive to make my guests happy and I was never given this chance.

The only thing that could save this place is a demo crew.

The cleaning person used extremely strong perfumed products that burned our eyes and throats as we entered the home. Immediately we called the owner and left a message as well as a text message . We thoroughly cleaned all surfaces and floor with water and aired the place out for hours at 20 degree F with no success. As we were cleaning the house we were appalled to find heavy dog scratches on the bedroom door, holes in bathroom floor, large crack on bathroom wall and peeling paint. Also, no carbon monoxide detector and smoke detectors were removed from ceiling with a gas fireplace and gas heater in use. We did not find this suitable or safe living arrangements. We did not hear back from host immediately so our only option was to sleep in our car or get a hotel for 4 days. We ended up in a hotel for the remainder of our stay in Leadville. The next day, the host contacted me via message offering to send the cleaning lady over to do what we had already done the night of check in. I replied to him requesting a full refund and have yet to hear back from him after 16 days. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Very nice little old cabin, clean and functioning, well supported. The enclosed backyard was loved by our dog. Close to downtown and in close proximity to many hiking and biking trails around Leadville. Very good communication. Will visit again if opportunity appears.

All Needs Met

While this was a very basic stay, you have everything you need for a successful trip. I would not recommend this place for an extended stay because this home is "cozy" but not in a very comfortable way. The house itself is pretty old and in desperate need of some cosmetic updating (appliances, paint, etc.) and deep cleaning. However, the backyard was lovely for our dog and to grill out.

Great stay for our ski trip.

Great little home was perfect for couple and one child to stay for spring break ski trip to Leadville and Ski Cooper. Home is older and small one bedroom but is quite cozy and modernized with everything we needed such as wi-fi, flat screen tv's, streaming services. Kitchen was equipped with everything we need to prepare our meals. Loved the gas fireplace in the living room. Price was great and we will definitely stay here again in the future.
