Olive Glen è una casa vacanza a Sonoma Creek nella splendida Glen Ellen, in California, a pochi minuti dalle cantine di fama mondiale di Sonoma Valley e Napa. Questa bella casa privata si trova su quasi un acro di terra con vista sulle cime degli alberi, Sonoma Mountain e Sonoma Creek. La casa è ombreggiata da ulivi secolari e sequoie. Le sue caratteristiche includono una cucina per chef completamente attrezzata, confortevole per più cuochi, energia solare, una stazione di ricarica per auto elettriche, un centro di intrattenimento domestico, una sala da pranzo interna per 6, tavolo da pranzo all'aperto in teak, camino a gas, pavimenti in legno, refrigeratore per vino , biancheria di lusso, arredamento moderno e molto altro. Il bagno interno della camera da letto principale ha una vasca da bagno gigante. Tutto lo spazio abitativo è su un unico livello, che si apre su un ponte di 1500 piedi quadrati con aree per lounge, un tavolo da pranzo in teak, un barbecue a gas e l'esposizione a sud per il sole tutto il giorno (la maggior parte del tempo). Il mazzo è il luogo perfetto per godersi un bicchiere di rosé e leggere un buon libro (c'è una PS4 all'interno se non è il tuo genere). C'è un ampio parcheggio fuori strada per un massimo di tre auto. Una caratteristica preferita è la sala giochi illuminata e coperta all'aperto, completa di tavolo da biliardo, ping pong e freccette.

Olive Glen è a circa mezzo miglio da ottimi ristoranti nel villaggio di Glen Ellen, tra cui l'acclamata Glen Ellen Star, Jack London Saloon, The Fig Cafe and Wine Bar, Glen Ellen Inn e Yeti. Ci sono dozzine di vigneti, cantine e sale per la degustazione di vini nelle vicinanze, molte raggiungibili a piedi. La zona è perfetta anche per escursioni a piedi, in bicicletta, fotografia e relax. Speriamo che apprezzerai Olive Glen e Glen Ellen tanto quanto noi.

Absolutely beautiful property, so relaxing! We spend most of our time by the pool which was lovely. The scenery was so wonderful with the grapevines and mountains. Highly recommend!

Great location and outdoor space

We were disappointed in the living room layout for socializing. There is an extra chair in the old photos and new photos of this property that is not there. We had to bring outdoor folding chairs inside to use as the sofa is not very practical. We apparently did not read the fine print about the 3rd bathroom being located outside for the pool area and not inside for the 3rd bedroom. It was inconvenient unfortunately. The house is in a great location and the outdoor space is really nice.

Amazing experience

Perfect place to stay. Ample supply of linens, well stocked kitchen and amenities. Pool was so clean and refreshing. Perfect to use the spa in the crisp mornings and in the evening after wine tasting. Host was very responsive and kind. Enjoyed our entire stay.

Great House with an Amazing Back Yard

To be perfectly honest, we barely spent any of our time inside the house because the back yard was perfect for both entertainment and relaxation.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Beautiful property. Endless amenities. Gracious hosts. This home had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully equipped & the beds are comfortable. Our group of kids and adults loved the pool & outdoor game area. The hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to make our stay delightful. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic property for a wine getaway

House is beautifully decorated, well stocked, and has a great outdoor covered patio with giant screen TV, pool table etc. Perfect for game nights. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Hosts are super responsive and helpful.

Great location

This house was perfect. It was 3 couples and the location was perfect. So easy to get to everything. We also loved the porch and the stunning view. The house was well stocked and the owners are the nicest! Highly recommend. We’ve been to wine country several times and thsi by far is my fave rental!!

This property was very well cared for and perfect for the 6 of us. We were attending a wedding in sonoma so the location could not have been better. We did not get a chance to play ping pong, pool etc but a family could easily be occupied during a stay

Great stay in Glen Ellen

Wonderful property in Glen Ellen. Communication with Melissa was great. No issues at all with the house. Listing was accurate and house was well stocked with everything you could need. We were able to walk into town. Great pastries at Les Pascals and food shopping at Glen Ellen Market. Wine tastings at both Laurel Glenn and the Wine Star. Walked to Glen Ellen Star for dinner. Also convenient location for trips into both Sonoma and Healdsburg. Beautiful town and we would like to return

Perfect Location for a Sonoma Getaway

This was a great property. Most importantly, it is in a central location and a short distance from many Sonoma County wineries, while also being a short drive from SF. The view of the mountains and vines on the property are also a nice touch. Check-in was easy and the host was incredibly responsive to all communications. The house was well cleaned and full stocked. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean and well maintained. The newly built pool area was a perfect way to cool off on the hot afternoons. The outdoor shower, inflatable chairs, and other pool amenities provided by the host made the pool convenient for everybody. The shaded game area next the pool was also a great hangout spot for people that wanted to be pool-adjacent. 10/10, would rent again.

Lovely and relaxing

Five of us celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday by staying in this lovely home and visiting nearby wineries. The house is very well appointed, fully stocked and Melissa was very helpful, with detailed welcome information and by quickly responding to any questions. Even though the road could be busy, we didn’t hear it inside or out. Everywhere we wanted to go was easy to get to and we were glad we had a car, as the road isn’t pedestrian friendly, especially after dark. We all agreed we would stay here again, without question! A comfortable house in the countryside

The house is new and fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything that one might need, the deck is large, and it opens onto a wonderful view of the countryside. The location is also quite good with easy access to the small town of Glen Ellen with its restaurants and shops. We rented an EV and were pleased to find a charger on the property. While the house had an easy to read and helpful booklet, the owners were very responsive to questions. They met us upon arrival and gave us a very good tour of the house, inside and outside, they were available to answer questions and they made many excellent recommendations about restaurants and places to visit. While the house is on a small but busy road it is set back enough that we were not bothered at all by any road noise. There was construction being done in the back yard where a pool was being installed. While the construction was stopped during our stay, it did limit our access to the outdoor area and it impacted the view.

Wonderful location--Great property--Very helpful owners

We met our adult children in Sonoma Valley to enjoy some time together and this home was perfect for us. The home is newly built and beautifully furnished with everything you will need for a memorable visit. The open layout allowed all of our children to have a hand in the cooking and then enjoy the meal out on the deck overlooking the creek. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Paul & Melissa had provided information on operating everything in the house (fireplace, heat lamps, entertainment center, etc.) and were very prompt answering any questions we had. We were lucky to be visiting on a Tues. and were able to go to the Farmer's Market in Sonoma--great experience! Not only did Paul & Melissa give us information on the Farmer's Market, they had picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers available to use. Their Welcome Letter listing many restaurants, wineries, & other activities was very helpful. Paul & Melissa's reviews were quite accurate. If you have time to see the area, we enjoyed the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve to the north, as well as Jack London State Park closeby. Renting from Paul & Melissa was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to return to this lovely home in wine country!

Fabulous Getaway!

The town of Glen Ellen is darling and this house was perfect! Group of 6 was just right. The outdoor space with pool and hot tub was super fun with great views and the kitchen was fully equipped. Also really loved the double vanity and cute tub in the master bedroom bath! Owners were super responsive as well.

Girls weekend getaway

A wonderful home for a small college reunion! The house was super comfortable…the owners have thought of everything. The game room was a lot of fun and the views were gorgeous. Hope to come back some day!
