Faro di Point Robinson - Quarti B

Il Vashon Park District offre straordinari soggiorni nei due quartieri custoditi rinnovati presso il faro di Point Robinson. Le due residenze condividono la spiaggia con il faro e diversi edifici. Entrambe le residenze sono disponibili per le vacanze durante tutto l'anno, offrendo un modo meraviglioso per godersi la spiaggia, il Sound e l'isola di Vashon.

Il quarto B è un appartamento completamente arredato con due camere da letto e un bagno, con una cucina completa e un salotto esclusivi. Questa casa è stata restaurata per catturare gran parte delle sue condizioni storiche del 1919. Può ospitare da quattro a sei persone.

La soleggiata cucina nel Quarto B evoca un momento di biscotti fatti in casa e lente colazioni domenicali.

Il salotto vanta arredi d'epoca e comfort moderni.

Questo quartiere è arroccato vicino al faro sulla riva del Puget Sound. Offre un portico meraviglioso affacciato sul Sound e sul Monte Rainier.

Il quarto B fa parte di un duplex che comprende metà del piano inferiore e l'intero piano superiore della casa. È accanto al nostro custode, Mo Anakar. Il portico anteriore è condiviso con ingressi separati.

Overall great time screens on the windows would be a nice addition although understand keeping up with the period decor enjoyed watching the various ships heading to the port if quarters A has a downstairs bathroom would prefer to stay there next time we are retired and walking up 15 stairs just to use it wasn’t ideal

The space was cozy and views were incredible! The caretaker was super friendly, and we mostly had the beach to ourselves in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

This restored home is a treasure and the surrounding beach, lighthouse, view of the majestic mountain, which changes all day and evening long, the incoming rush of the tide, the bald eagles perching on tree limbs -- a feast for the senses. It's quiet and also so full of life!

I love staying here!

There is something really magical about staying in this lovely historic property. The isolation and rocky coastline, filled with nature sounds and wildlife feel me with calm.

Great unique experience

Our family with young children loved staying at the quarters. The location on the beach can’t be beat, the views were spectacular, and the place was very neat and tidy. Would stay there again!

Sweet spot!

Quarters B was a lovely place to stay for New Year’s! The place is well cared for, warm and cozy, had a full kitchen and comfy beds. We enjoyed the stay right on the water and watching the ships go by.

Wonderful Home

If you love old 1800's homes, this is a beauty. A lot of original woodwork and such a perfect location on Vashon. Staff was great to work with!

Point Robinson Park is a 10-acre shoreline park, and, a historical and marine conservancy. It is located on the east shore of Vashon-Maury Island, off Point Robinson Road overlooking the East Passage. The site has provided fog and lighthouse service for vessels since 1885. The lighthouse has been fully automated since 1978. Vashon Park District owns the upland part of the park, and the remainder is on a long-term lease from the U.S. Coast Guard. The property conserves an extensive sandy beach shoreline that wraps around the point, a saltwater marsh, and upland woodlands. Walking trails and a few picnic tables have been developed along the scenic shoreline providing dramatic views of East Passage, Tacoma, Mount Rainier, and the upper wooded slopes. Pt. Robinson Stewards have fully restored the two Keepers' Quarters on the property for use as rentals. All proceeds from the rentals go back into the park's restoration and maintenance.

Point Robinson - what a special gift this property is to the people of Vashon. There are not a lot of places in the world where you can witness whales breaching an arm's length away and giant ships steaming by in the night, or watch Great Blue Herons fish in front of a lighthouse. And now, there is a Thomas Dambo troll art installation (Oscar the Bird King) located at Pt. Robinson Park as well, make sure you stop in to visit him while you're staying with us. So, on behalf of our Island and the Vashon Park District, welcome to Point Robinson Lighthouse. You're going to love it!
