Com)). Scopri le meravigliose spiagge delle Outer Banks, il bellissimo Currituck Sound e i numerosi servizi del resort senza salire in macchina. Goditi i tramonti mozzafiato dai ponti frontali, navigando in kayak attorno alle acque del Currituck Heritage Park e camminando lungo i percorsi naturalistici e i moli ai margini del suono. Quando sei pronto per andare in spiaggia, passeggia lungo il sentiero ombreggiato che porta all'Oceanfront Pool Complex e goditi l'accesso privato alla spiaggia, le piscine sull'oceano, il servizio di ristorazione e bevande a bordo piscina e una serie di servizi e attività esclusivamente per gli ospiti del resort . This house met all of our needs for our week in Corolla. The short distance to both the sound as well as the resort pools/ocean honestly was the best thing about the house for our group. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and took advantage of the ample kitchen and dining space all week as well.

We had a great stay at this OBX rental! The location was perfect—just a short walk or bike ride to the pools and beach, which made it super convenient with kids. The home was stocked with bikes and games that kept everyone entertained, and there was plenty to do nearby from shops to great restaurants and family-friendly activities. The kids also enjoyed the on-site pool. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

Great house and location

Location of the house was convenient to amenities and the beach. Resort shuttle was nice and frequent. The property itself was good and the owner was most helpful and responsive to our communications. It's a great unit for a family with small children!

Family Vacation

We had 3 generations together for a week from NC, NY & MN! We had plenty of room for 12 people & enjoyed all of the amenities. The pool & bikes were at the top of the favorites list. It is a great location with easy access to all the attactions OBX has to offer! We recommend the Silver Charters for a fishing trip (kid friendly & what a catch!) & Bob's Wild Horse Tour, the best narrative & viewing of the horses!

Great Location

We wanted a location that would allow us to park our cars for the week and just walk or bike to everything around the resort. OBX Star's location was perfect - we walked everywhere (beach, shopping, trails, lighthouse, sports center)! And it's a great house - neat, clean, and updated. We would stay here again. Thanks!

Great family vacation

My family had a wonderful time staying at Star! The location was perfect and we enjoyed a lot of the activities at the community Center. There was always something to do! We loved watching the sunset over the bay and playing volleyball and pickle ball. The pool was enjoyed by all every day. Thanks!

The location is wonderful and has great amenities! Unfortunately, it seemed like a lot of the cleaning was just skipped, especially in the downstairs. Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom (gum wads behind toilet), dirty shower curtain etc. When we shared this with management they quickly sent housekeeping to take care of the issues but it was still annoying to have to need to reach out on something that should have been handled initially. Secondary, the propane tank ran out halfway through cooking dinner one night. They replaced the tank the next day, but again would have been nice to have that checked ahead of time. The bedroom with the twin beds on the second floor also had no vents or ceiling fan, so can get stuffy. The house had great space and the location was lovely! And again, management was very kind and responsive!

We were also pleased that we were able to have the cleaning crew return to the house immediately upon learning of the issues you identified. As with most if not all property management companies on the Outer Banks, labor shortages persist and there are those rare occasions when a cleaning crew does not perform to the level we expect for our guests. We have certainly discussed your experience with our property management company so they can address such issues and ensure they are not repeated. This was our first time vacationing as a family. Corolla light resort in North Carolina was beyond family friendly.The planned activities were fun and the trolley was awesome to have available to carry our coolers and beach chairs!! We 100% will be back!!!

perfect summer vacation

this house was the perfect spot for an easy and activity-filled summer vacation. the house was clean and comfortable. the pool was big enough for kids to play in. the upstairs deck was great for watching sunsets, ospreys, and grilling. all of the corolla light amenities were a short walk or bike ride away. we would definitely stay here again.

Great location with plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay at OBX Star. It was conveniently located to many shops and dining. We loved having the bikes available to us, and we had plenty of room to spread out in the home with our party of 10. The home had most of the small items and appliances we needed to cook, and the gas grill was nice as well. The beach was nice, and the reservation included several amenities within the resort. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Corolla!

Reuniting with OBX!

We had a wonderful week at OBX Star. It was steps away from the sound as well as the beach. The amenities, we used the fitness center almost daily, were great. We were a few minutes' drive from shopping, and biking around the area was easy too. We were avid OBX vacationers since 2004 but hadn't been to OBX since 2017. It was great to come back and share new memories with family at OBX Star!

Convenient location for Corolla activities

The house is in a great location, close to the sound, beach, the Lighthouse, shops and restaurants. Car traffic is noticeable at times on the side of the house that faces the main road. The interior of the house is a little dated, but has all the basic amenities and was very clean. The property management staff was super friendly and responsive during our stay. Overall, plenty of room for a family to enjoy everything that the Outer Banks offers.

OBX Star

So happy we finally made it to the OBX. We had a great time with our kids & their spouses.The house certainly met all of our needs. The house had both a high chair & pack n play which really helped out. Less things to bring with us. We took advantage of the kayaks & bikes that were provided. The pool was a nice thing to come home to after a day at the beach. It provided us with another place to hang out with everyone. Definitely something we would consider doing again in the future.

OBX Star Delight

The property is gorgeous, we all loved the house. Cleaning people do need to step up a little more as sliding door tracks and light fixtures are dirty and full of cobwebs. Same as swings on the porch and anything you touch around the grill area. Of all though it was beautiful and when we did all manager they took care of things right away..

Corolla House

The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious with plenty of room for a large group. The house is in need a deep clean though. There were dead insects on the window sills and cob webs on light fixtures. The sliding doors were difficult to open/close due to the dirt build-up. The property management was very responsive and immediately addressed the small issues when contacted.

Amazing Community

I cannot recommend Corolla Light Resort enough! This house is conveniently located very close to a trolley stop, which made getting our group of 10 to and from the beach a breeze! There was a bit of confusion with check-in and accessing the house but that was no fault of Vaughn. The middle level queen desperately needs a new mattress but all other rooms were great. The main living area and kitchen were very open and spacious. This was our first experience on the sound side and we will never look back.

Great place to stay

Communication with the property manager and the owner was great. We were missing a couple linens, and despite a late check-in, we were taken care of right away. Location was excellent, house was spacious and clean, and everything we needed was conveniently located (grocery, etc.). The only caution I have is to bring EVERYTHING you need. Things like hand soap, salt, pepper, etc. that are often available are not included. No big deal, but helpful to know ahead of time.

Great rental

The property was exactly as described. Check in was a breeze and communication with the owner and the rental company was excellent. We discovered a broken sliding door on the day we arrived. I contacted the owner and he responded immediately. Someone came and fixed it the next day. The house is very roomy and we found basically everything we needed in the kitchen for making meals. Nice location between the sound and the ocean. Corolla Light Resort was very nice and the owner includes the use of all the amenities as part of the rental.
