Annual family vacation rental

This is our third summer renting the cabin. Athene is great to communicate with. Our kids love the beach. State park full of hiking and biking trails is right across the road.

Side Lake Splendor

Great piece of property. Sandy beach. Grand sunsets. Comfortable. Plenty of room for families. Memories were made. I would definitely go back!

Thank you so much for your great response and rating. There is nothing like coming home, getting on the lake and sitting around a camp fire. Definately the "Up North Experience" at its BEST. It was a pleasure having you stay at our cabin. Thanks again and hopefully we will see you again next summer!

Just what an "up north" cabin experience should be!

The cabin was perfect for our family. Just what an "up north" cabin experience should be! Beach is beautiful - very soft sand and very shallow for those with small children. Loved the deck and fire pit area near the beach. All the necessary amenities were available, fridge was large, nice-clean shower. Our teenage kids had a great time and even put their phones to rest! We hope to return next year for another relaxing vacation!!

Great time!

I have always enjoyed going to Side Lake since I was a child and was so thrilled to return with my children and grandchildren. The cabin and beach were perfect!

Beach was great for grandkids

Wonderful property. For long distance travelers, having to provide bedding is a bit of a hassle.

Hi Ed - Great having you and your family at our cabin. Awesome that you were able to bring your grandchildren. I'm sure they loved the freedom of the property. Nothing like making great memories.... Wonderful beach and relaxing deck

Owner was so helpful in answering all our questions and recommending local restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. House had everything we needed and we loved the relaxing deck and fires in the fire pit at night.

Great older cabin with lots to offer

We had a wonderful time. Nice place to stay. Great swimming lake. Sandy beaches. Owners were accommodating . Indoor Games and dvds for bad weather. We would rent it again.

Fun family break

We stayed there for a week in aug..Athene was a pleasure to deal with before and during our stay! Whatever questions we had, she was quick to answer and they were very generous with letting use things,such as the kayaks..the cabin was easy to get to and in a great location!

Best family vacation!

We loved the property and the cabin. The owner was very accommodating and extremely easy to work with. It was probably one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had as a family. My kids loved it and no one wanted to go home. The cabin was very clean and the beach area was as good as being at McCarthy Beach but without all the people. We hope we are able to come back again next year. Thank you!
