Thank you so much - firstly for staying at our little oceanfront retreat and secondly for offering such a wonderful review. We appreciate this very much and hope to have you stay again when next visiting Myrtle Beach. The resort, like so many others along the coast was neglected for many years in part due to the property recession a few years ago ... the resort was sold in the past 3 years and since then there has been a continuous effort to improve and renovation the property with many projects on the go during the off the season. Unfortunately it takes time and as always the top priorities are the mechanics ( or behind the walls ) type repairs and upgrades which no one sees but are necessary. We are pleased to confirm that the HOA and commercial property management have been working diligently on bringing this resort back to it's former glory. Many of the individual owners too have spent tens of thousands of dollars renovating their properties, so all in all lots of good happening and we are excited to see what the next few years bring. Thank you for your review, if I may, I feel it necessary to correct the preparing meals concerns you mention, we do have various items for you to use in order to prepare light meals. There is a single plate cooktop including pots and pans as well as a slow cooker, microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, glasses, mugs, crockery and utensils etc. Whilst a Thanksgiving meal may be difficult, you certainly can cook up some wonderful meals very easily. Pictures and sq footage of the space advertised are 100% accurate so am a little confused that you were expecting something different? Our housekeeping staff are consistent with their cleaning procedures so am a little taken aback re your toilet comment, however, I will certainly bring this to their attention and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
