The house was great, clean had everything we needed. Only wish the whole house had Air conditioning but it wasn’t too hot for us. Having the little grocery store just around the corner was a plus. Very close to restaurants.Chip and Angie were easy to talk to and check in was great. Miguel was there when we arrived and was around if needed. Vieques was amazing .

Thank you for your review. We've gone back and forth on the whole house A/C question, but with the prevailing breeze from the front to the rear of house it provides cooling naturally. The house next to ours has whole house A/C and windows have not been opened for three years, we prefer having our windows open. Glad you found the location convenient, as its close to everything. Miguel is just wonderful, we love him! Thank you!

We fell in love with Vieques and Chip and Angie’s place was the perfect home base. It was easy to walk into town, Miguel and his family across the street made us feel very welcome, and we can’t wait to return and relax on the balcony again after a trip to one of the many gorgeous beaches!

Great location and plenty of space. The breeze through the house is amazingly effective in keeping it cool and the A/Cs worked great in the bedrooms. Location is perfect - close to the small grocery store and walkable to restaurants. We ended up always driving to the beaches to get to less busy locations. But everything is a short drive so was not a big deal. Chip and Angie were lovely and very responsive and gave us some great recommendations. We’ll be back!

This was our third time in Vieques, first time at this VBRO. For our family of five this was absolutely perfect - dark and quiet bedrooms ( with in bedroom AC units and earplugs for those that don’t love hearing the roosters, well supplied kitchen , and central location. Walking distance to the ocean / beaches but also close to all the other amazing attractions/beaches this island has to offer. Kids also loved being able to walk to the store a block away to get after dinner ice cream treats , supplies for dinner , etc - a small convenience store so close is a also a big win despite having a jeep.

We had a lovely stay at Angie and Chip's place. The location was convenient for walking to the grocery store and local shops, beaches, restaurants, and excursions. The home had all we needed for cooking and relaxing when not at one of the many amazing beaches. Everything worked well and Angie and Chip were responsive. Vieques is a beautiful place, with a laid back lifestyle. We will be back!

The place was very nice and exceeded out expectations. The house was well appointed, and the beach chairs/umbrella got good use :) Took a little bit to get used to the AC in the rooms only, but that was expected and we got used to it by the second day. Laundry came in handy and wasn't a bad walk to the restaurants and biobay tour (the outdoor shower was great for the post tour mud lol). Miguel across the street was very nice and welcoming. Also the grocery store was very convenient around the corner and had way more stuff than I was expecting. Would stay here again!

Great accommodations.Very good kitchen set up with everything you need. Very friendly manager across the street.Beautiful front porch, balcony where you can catch an eye of ocean now and then.Great neighborhood at mix of local Puerto Ricans and tourist close to the malecón.

Everything you need and walkable for food and cocktails’

The house had everything we needed and plenty of space! A block from groceries and an easy walk to a few good restaurants and bars.

Great place in Esperanza

This is a great place to stay in Esperanza. Walk down to the Malecon and beach. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Owners are very responsive.

Vacationing in Vieques? Book this great home

This home has what you need: beach chairs, coolers, backyard seating with a grill with cool party lighting… perfect location to the Malecon. Limbres (a cool frozen treat) sold by a local woman, a convenience store basically across the street, …. Comfortable beds and very good air con for bedrooms.

A special spot!

The house is in a great location on the island, easy walk right to the beach, and grocery store just around the corner. It had everything you could need for your stay, was well stocked and clean. We loved it!

Wonderful stay in Vieques

House was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean and AC worked perfectly. We only ran it at night when we slept. Very close to a small grocery store and a quick drive to the beaches in our rental car. Miguel is their helper and he was very helpful getting check in. Would stay again if we come back.

Excellent Vacation House

It was an excellent, its the way these rentals were before 2020. Clean, comfortable, Kitchen actually has essentials in it (not that we cooked much). Beds were super comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms worked great. I would stay there again if I ever go back and its available. The neighborhood is very quiet after 10pm except for roosters. Very easy walk to all the restaurants, in town .

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dos Palmas. It's walking distance from the main street with restaurants and shops as well as several local beaches. They had everything you could want from a beach house - outdoor rinse stations, a big front porch for lounging or drying towels, sea breezes in the living area and AC in the bedrooms. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. for us to make dinner at home a couple of nights. Miguel met us to show us the house and hand over the keys and made sure to wave goodbye as we pulled out. This was definitely a place I can recommend and would stay at again.
