Secluded and private

The property was very clean and close to the water. Great no wake cove and nice dock. Owner was extremely nice and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Grand Lake Getaway

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by the host. We had zero issues. Everything was great. We will be returning.

The Hostess with the Mostest!

Pat and mike are amazing! The best hostesses by far! I will make the trip annually with them and have made new friends for sure! They were so accommodating and friendly!

Nice deck and dock

Owner was friendly and helpful. Home is nice with plenty of living space. Deck on house is great. Enjoyed the dock too. Kids enjoyed jumping off the cliffs which are located right across the cove. Only issue we had was gas grill quit working while cooking dinner.

So glad you enjoyed your time in our home and on Grand Lake. It is very important to us to provide and accommodate all of our guest. This is the first we have heard of your problem with the gas grill. Had we known we could have promptly responded with a back up since we are on location and available at all times.

Great Place

This is a great location on Grand Lake comes with a nice boat dock with easy access to lake . Did not get to use and enjoy the lake though , because we where over there working .How ever we will be back with a little time to relax next time . Thanks Mike it was nice to meet you I'll be in touch in a few weeks hopefully for round two .Thanks again Stan

Great vacation spot!!

This rental home is perfect for a long stay at the lake! It has gorgeous views, fully equipped kitchen, an AMAZING deck and just a short walk down the hill to the boat dock. Our vacation consisted of 3 young couples enjoying the lake for the weekend. Dripping springs was a very popular cove with plenty of opportunities to socialize. The jumping cliffs were within eye shot, just across the cove! There was never a dull moment! The cove has 2 small marinas for gas/drinks. It is also close to Duck Creek for excellent skiing/wake boarding opportunities. We had an active weekend! My only complaint was that I didn't put on enough sunscreen! Definitely a great weekend!

Remember fall foliage is beautiful in Green Country but Grand Lake takes it to a whole different level of beauty! Evening sunsets are still as breath taking and cool temperatures are perfect for marshmallows and weeney roasting by the firepit!

Fun times at the lake

What a great experience our family had staying here. It was the best of both worlds! On Saturday the cove was busy with boats, music & people and on Sunday and Monday it was calm and quiet. The house was stocked better than any other place we’ve rented and the hosts went above and beyond. They were so helpful with everything. This is a perfect place to experience it all. On the weekends the cove and cliffs are hoppin (you’re literally right across from the cliffs, we swam back and forth). We aren’t “partiers”, but we really enjoyed the weekend atmosphere. And then the mornings, evenings, and weekdays are quite and chill. Great location, Great house, Great hosts (and neighbors), and a Great experience! Don’t let all the rules scare you (unless your looking host parties and trash the place, then yes this isn’t the place for you). You will not be disappointed. We will be back for sure!

Did not want to leave. This place is the greatest!

I will guarantee you, you will not find better hosts than Mike & Pat Flanagan. From the time we booked the property to time we checked out. They are the nicest people you’ll ever want to meet. The house was perfect for our family get away, neat & clean with a beautiful deck with a great view that you never want to leave. Mike and Pat made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The boat dock is just a short walk down the path. We docked our boat there the whole time we were there. It was also a perfect area to cove out and relax while watching the cliff divers. We even caught a few fish from the dock. I just can’t say enough good about our stay at the Flanagan’s - They are definitely first class people. Mike & Pat also took our family on a sunset cruise on their BIG boat one evening across the lake - we got some amazing pictures. And Last but not least - the day we checked out, With Mikes help we realized the bearings on my boat trailer needed to be replaced before our trip back. We couldn’t have gotten this done without Mike Flanagan’s help and experience. Mike suggested we change them out right there and that’s what we did, with Mikes help. My whole family was truly greatful for the assistance- this was truely above and beyond. The Flanagan’s are just GOOD people!!! If you are looking for a place to stay on Grand lake - This is the one!! Great house, great deck, great dock, great cove & even greater people!!! Don’t pass it up. Relaxing experience

We were looking for a place that suited all of us from senior citizens to teenagers. We found it! Even this late in the season, we watched cliff jumpers. All of us had a great time fishing, exploring, and playing games at night. The only down-side was no Wi-Fi, which was a plus for most of us.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our lake home. We do not advertise having Wi-Fi service. The hot-spot antenna is a bonus if it works but the local service provider is very antiquated and limited access. We would rather not advertise availability than to have our guest disappointed with it not working. Sorry for the inconvenience to your guest who expected otherwise. Hope to see you again soon.

Perfect summer getaway

This home was perfect for my family’s vacation- we LOVED it! My 70 year old parents had an easy time getting from the house to the boat dock and loved watching the hummingbirds from the deck! My daughter had endless fun swimming off the dock and jumping off the cliffs (there is a kid-size jump). My husband and I enjoyed having a private dock for our boat, and watching the sunset from the deck. The house was larger than expected, plenty of room, very clean and stocked nicely. Pat and Mike were wonderful hosts- very generous and always available to answer questions! They spend a lot of time keeping the property in good condition. There were always boats coming and going from the cliffs- with music playing- but we couldn’t hear any of it from inside the house. Plus, it was fun to watch cliff jumpers from the deck! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Can’t wait to visit again next summer.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was secluded and lots of fun watching the boaters and swimmers jumping from the cliffs. Pat & Mike were great host. We will be back.

Even better than the first visit!

So clean and comfortable! We were greeted with a wonderful clean smell and music playing inside and out. Cannot beat the view! Pat and Mike are wonderful hosts. Made sure we had everything we needed. Enjoyed floating and watching cliff jumpers with them. We will definitely be back!!

I'll be going back!

We literally had the best vacation! While you might think your lost on your way to the house, just follow the instructions they do get you there! The local is amazing! Perfect lake cove to stay at. Lots of swimming and boating at the front door. The house was the perfect size for a family with 2 kids. Very clean and well accommodated! Generous and friendly owners! We will be going back!

Great location and hospitality!

The property was just as described and we had a great time! The location is superb and you can’t find a place with a better view of the lake with an amazing dock and cove to hang out in - just perfect. Mike and Pat were awesome and very gracious - we’ll be back to stay again!

Family getaway

We had a fantastic trip the flanagan’s perfect lake cabin, lots of activities for our kids, lovely quiet time on the deck to recharge and lots of fun with our wonderful hosts. Hope to return next year. It was a perfect getaway. Thank you so much Mike and Pat.

Great location, great house, great hosts!

Pat met us and helped give us a tour of the property. The house is bigger than we thought and 8 of us had plenty of room. Everything worked and kitchen was well stocked. The deck is awesome and has great views. Pat and Mike were fantastic hosts and even took us out to tour the lake. They have a great spot and location and we enjoyed every minute! We will be back!

Clean and fun environment

This property was laid out well with helpful stocked amenities in kitchen (salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc). This is a really fun area to stay...quiet in the morning and activity of Dripping Springs boats in the afternoons. The boat dock was convenient to the property. We will definitely stay there again!

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time at the property. Pat and Mike were excellent hosts - they even took us on a lake tour! We spent 40 hours on this beautiful lake and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
