Great property for views and cozy gatherings. The house is large enough for families with children, young to middling. The host is friendly and available when help or questions need to be addressed. Beautiful neighborhood with frequent deer sittings and bird watching. Great open porches for sunning and warm conversations.

Great place for a family gathering!

Property was clean, spacious, adequately supplied, and a lovely home. Even the Christmas tree was lit when we arrived! Family enjoyed their time reconnecting, sharing food and nightly rest.

The place was perfect for our two families. It was a very nice house with proper amenities. The backyard was great to return to after a day on the water, everyone enjoyed it. The added hot tub was a hit. Everyone was able to spread out and it was lovely eating on the large front porch in the evenings. We can't wait to return.

Great place for a family gathering!

We had a great time. We had a bunch of people together for a wedding and it was perfect! The kids enjoyed the pool and the front deck was great for coffee with a view. The owner, Jacob was very responsive and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Anniversary Family Weekend

The home has gorgeous views of lake and great for quiet relaxation. It has everything you need to prepare meals at home and finish the evening with a swim, ping ping, darts, or games around the living room table. We enjoyed celebrating 32 years of marriage with our adult kids that travelled to meet and enjoy family time.

House was clean, kitchen very user friendly, spacious, abundant natural light throughout house, with plenty of sleeping areas. Our visit was on a heat-wave weekend and air-conditioner handled the challenge like a champ. We relaxed in the backyard with the cool pool waters, waterfall view and sounds, and the warm waters of hot tub.The house offered views of the Oroville Lake, Bidwell State Park and Marina, and the mountains surrounding the area. Even got in some hawk and deer watching.Great place for gathering with friends or family for fun, visiting or just relaxing. This house is in a peaceful, quiet location with great opportunities to get away from it all. Or, you can use it as a hub to venture to the nearby Lake Oroville Visitor Center, take a walk on the top of Oroville Dam, visit Oroville Lake and recreation centers, or to venture into town for 'small town' shopping opportunities. Really enjoyed our second visit to this beautiful home. Will keep it on our list for a future return visit.

Jim & Sharon’s stay

The pictures of the home were exactly as depicted! We brought some items like d/w soap, paper towels and more, however the house had ample supplies of everything needed for our month stay. 😃the property was very comfortable with a great view of the lake and surrounding area. The kids loved the pool, and the adults as well. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Jim

Beautiful Lake View Home with a Pool

The house and location are both wonderful. The backyard is gorgeous and well maintained. The garage has a ping pong table and dart board which were perfect for our family vacation. I would say it is more accurate that the house sleeps 10. We were able to use a couple of air beds for additional sleeping. We had questions upon arrival and Jacob was immediately available and extremely helpful andnd accommodating. Follow Jacob’s advice regarding the driveway. Overall a great home for our family’s boating vacation.

Oroville lakehouse

We loved the house. The pool was great for the kids. There were a couple of issues when we checked in, but Jacob was was so quick to respond and very nice. It was to bad the water in the lake was not visible, but that is not a problem.

Perfect Home for Any Group

This home is perfectly situated to accommodate any group type - families w/ kids, adult friends, couples. Lots of space to spread out & not be on top of each other. The pool, hot tub & deck all make great use of the outdoor space. Super close to the lake w/ great views. Easy to get into town to enjoy some of the local restaurants (check out Ethan's Eatery for breakfast!). House is very clean and has all the amenities you'd need. Jacob was clear in communication on house access & even offer early check in/late check out without it being requested. We're looking at our calendar to see when we can come back!

Nice weekend getaway

Jacob was one of the easiest and most communicative hosts I have ever had. It made the entire process very easy and more enjoyable. The lake level is really low right now, but the views and driving around the region are still very nice. Our only two complaints were that some supplies were missing or extremely low (wood pellets, dish soap, laundry detergent), and that some of the furnishings and appliances need updating, because they either didn't work too well (dishwasher) or were uncomfortable (futons, queen beds). But overall, it was a very nice stay and great place to spend the weekend with friends.
