Breve 1 miglio a piedi dalla spiaggia più vicina (spiaggia delle dune). Cottage in stile New England completamente arredato. Soggiorno con 1 divano full size e una sedia. Mangia comodamente in cucina 4 posti a sedere. Tavolo da esterno 6 posti comodamente. Tavolo pieghevole aggiuntivo e 4 sedie pieghevoli aggiuntive fornite. La camera da letto 1 ha un letto matrimoniale, la camera da letto 2 ha un letto a castello. Viene fornito un materasso gonfiabile matrimoniale. House ha 3 condizionatori d'aria a finestra e per il riscaldamento ha radiatori a vapore. Vengono forniti lenzuola, trapunte, cuscini e asciugamani. 1 bagno completo con doccia. Grande lavatrice e asciugatrice, schermo piatto HDTV da 50 pollici con canali TV locali e Apple TV, Internet Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps, grande forno a microonde, stufa full size, frigorifero full size, macchina per il caffè 12 tazze. Stoviglie, pentole e padelle forniti. Pozzo del fuoco all'aperto e legna fornita. Winnapaug Country Club (campo pubblico) 1 miglio di distanza. Giardino molto grande con tavolo e ombrellone da esterno, ottimo per barbecue all'aperto (griglia a carbone in dotazione). Quartiere tranquillo. House dispone di pavimenti in piastrelle e parquet. Dai un'occhiata al centro-ovest, che ospita il Grey Sail Brewery, 2 librerie, negozi di antiquariato e molti negozi al dettaglio. 10 minuti da Watch Hill, a 40 minuti dalla storica Newport, RI. Il nostro pass per la spiaggia è per la spiaggia di Wuskenau che si trova a 2 miglia di distanza. La spiaggia di Wuskenqau si trova proprio accanto alla spiaggia statale di Misquamicut. C'è un parco giochi / tennis per quell'ora di divertimento dopo cena proprio in fondo al Rotary Park, o guidare a Watch Hill per un gelato e un giro in giostra per i bambini - o Ocean House per adulti. Questa proprietà è centrale per le spiagge, lo shopping, i bambini e le famiglie confortevoli. Il casinò Foxwoods Resort dista 35 minuti. Il casinò Mohegun Sun è raggiungibile in 50 minuti. Goditi i pasti nei numerosi ristoranti sulla riva della nostra zona. Nessun deposito cauzionale richiesto. C'è un Super Walmart a 5 minuti. Location was as described. Nice and quit neighborhood. Check in was super simple and host was very accommodating. I would love to take another trip to Rhode Island in the future and I would stay here again.

The listing has pictures that are not accurate, they are old and out dated. They do not maintain the cottage, it is not cleaned.They have window AC units. However they are musty or moldy, not pleasant.The kitchen and dinning areas matched the photos, other than dirty marked up walls, dust, etc. The living room has 3 couches and they do not appear clean. There was a mention in a previous review of one smelling like urine and the owner saying they that it had been replaced, seems it is still there. The bathroom has a urine smell as well, used tissue in the cabinet, shelf and shower not cleaned.Queen bedroom had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling over the bed, ac was not usable due to the odor.They provide dishes but no sponge, when asked they said there was a cleaning brush, the dish brush found was covered in brown, looked gross. So dishes probably not clean. They said to use the general cleaning brush for the dishes (the one that may have been used for the floor). The front patio table now has the inexpensive plastic chairs.They requested that the renters wash all towels prior to check out. The washer is in the basement. There is no light on the stairs or handrail. It was very uncomfortable going into the basement. Also it is a dog friendly home and a mouse trap was found within reach of a dog near the fridge.We stayed one night as we arrived later in the day and didn’t have another place to go. We checked out the next morning and informed them. No response.

My husband and I booked a three night stay. With a rise in temperatures predicted for the next few days and on the warmer side for May, the cottage was very stuffy when we arrived. Unfortunately, the three air conditioners were not already installed in the windows. After emailing the owner about the need for them to be installed, he was very prompt in showing up to put each one in. It was a relief to have them operating especially with our dog who tends to not do well with the heat. The cottage has a beautiful lilac bush that is located right in the front that was in full bloom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with and dishware, but I could not find any dish soap or a brush to wash a few items I used.There is a good size backyard surrounded by woods with plastic chairs to sit and relax. The size was adequate for the two of us and our dog. Due to the time of year the price was very reasonable.

We recently stayed at this property for a work-related trip. The location worked well for us, and the check-in process was straightforward and easy to navigate.That said, there were several aspects of the stay that did not meet expectations. Upon entering the home, there was a strong animal urine odor that persisted throughout the visit and made it difficult to be comfortable in the space. The couches were also in a condition where we felt it was necessary to place our own covers over them due to both cleanliness concerns and the odor coming from them.Additionally, the side and backyard areas had multiple piles of dog waste.We also found that the home’s condition and overall appearance did not align with the listing photos, which was disappointing upon arrival.

Hi Chris , I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I’m surprised with the rating you gave. One star is unfair. You never once contacted me during your stay regarding any issues. If I rented a house and it smelled like urine I would definitely contact the owner during my stay. We will be purchasing a new couch for the house. The listing photos are 100% accurate. Updates to the house this past fall include hardwood floors that were sanded and varnished. I hope that anyone reading this review will read the many other reviews of the house.

The cottage was cute, clean, toasty on a cold fall night, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage appeared to be getting some aesthetic updating, and the new windows were warm and secure. Our 2 Chihuahuas vacationed with us and loved hiking the beautiful preserve across the street as well as the Champlin Glacier preserve about 1 mile down the same road. Our hosts were quick to respond and accomodating with any needs we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will visit again!

Excellent Experience

First time renting a house for vacation and had a great time. Just a short drive to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet which made it easy to relax.

Check in/out was super easy. Close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings in the backyard with a fire. Was enough space for my small family and small dogs. Beds were comfy and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the house. This will be our new yearly vacation spot!

Great location, responsive owners, but smaller than expected. It would be great for a writing retreat. The peach pass was very helpful and made access easy to the town beach which has a large ramp for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Enjoyed overall.

We only provide local TV channels , however we provide apple TV which you can use to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and most other streaming services that you have a subscription too. The TV is an LG 50 inch flat screen TV.
