La mia casa si trova in una strada tranquilla a pochi isolati dal centro della città (5 minuti a piedi). Ci sono 4 camere da letto e due bagni - ristrutturati. Nel 2014. Bagno 1 Le caratteristiche includono pavimento al soffitto piastrelle personalizzate, box doccia in vetro cabina e tutti i nuovi infissi. Il 2 ° bagno ha anche vetro personalizzati con vasca / doccia e piastrelle metropolitana. L'arredamento del soggiorno è più recente - molti posti a sedere per tutti con 50 "Smart TV ÷ Netflix .. La sala da pranzo ha posti a sedere a buffet per 6-8. La veranda è incredibile 32 'abitabile coperto - questo è dove tutti vorranno appendere fuori. Tutto questo a pochi passi da ristoranti, lungomare e parchi .. Questo è il luogo - non rimarrete delusi!

This was our second stay and it was fantastic! House is gorgeous and extremely well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the house was the perfect size for our multi-generational group of 8. Location is perfect - a 10 minute walk to downtown and 5 minute drive to the beach. Bob is an excellent communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the front porch and the character of the home. Great location for walking to the pier and to downtown. Nice quiet street. Bob was a great host. Definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic location

Beautiful house with plenty of room for everyone. Location could not have been better - quiet street but just a short 2 block walk to all the activity in downtown. The place was very clean and had everything you needed to feel at home. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, convenient and quiet

The house very clean and comfortable. Nice size rooms including kitchen and dinning room. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated. Nice quiet street and a short walk to Main Street shops and restaurants. Great communication with host.

Quaint older home with tons of charm

Rented the house for the Coast Guard Festival and it was perfect. Within walking distance of all the events. Nice remodeled kitchen and baths. Very comfortable for the whole group. Cozy front porch where we had coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening..

Outstanding Property

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the property. It was just as advertised, very clean and very spacious. Our family enjoyed it immensely. The owner was in touch often and even provided a package of coffee for us upon our arrival. I can’t say enough great things about staying there. I highly recommend it!

Great host and accommodations for family reunion

This property was VERY clean and orderly. Kitchen was very well supplied with sharp knives, commonly used items like spices, sauces, pots/pans, dishes, storage and serving containers. The front porch is larger than it looks, and back porch area is also great. Bob was an awesome host and I would definitely recommend this home to others. Could not have been better for our family reunion.

Fantastic GH Spot!

Our extended family of 7, ages 11 to 74, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's property. It is the most complete VRBO I've ever stayed in - we had everything we needed, from plenty of towels to a fully appointed kitchen. House was very clean, beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the front porch was our favorite hangout, with the spacious dining room a close second. The location is perfect - an easy walk to downtown and our favorite ice cream spot, Dairy Treat. Beach is at most a 5 minute drive. Would absolutely stay again.

A nice place, could use some improvements, and better description

We had a lovely time in Grand Rapids and this place does have some great things going for it. It is a 10 minute walk to the main strip of downtown and about a 30 minute walk to the beach. As noted in the description, the bathrooms are new and nice. A couple things to be aware of: 1) This is really a 3 bedroom. There are two traditional bedrooms, one on each floor. There is a third bedroom that is large, but there is no door (and no curtain)! And it is right across from the upstairs bathroom. Inside the third-bed room is a converted room that has two double-beds in it, a bit tight, but it works. This interior room does have a door. I would recommend that the owner put a door on this room and perhaps add bunk beds in the interior bedroom to make it more kid-friendly and more spacious. 2) There is no yard. there is a small back-area with a grill and a four-person table. Not a big deal, but just important to understand there is little to no room for the kids to move in the back area. 3) This house is old. This is part of the charm, but the floors are very uneven and they creak terribly. To be expected. But if you have light sleepers, this may not be the place for you. Low-hanging fruit improvements: 1) the upstairs shower door has a jagged edge on the bottom (the plastic spill-guard). This cut both my wife and my son. This should be replaced or at least fixed to remove the sharp edge. 2) add small stool under the bathroom sinks. These sinks are very high. If you have kids under 4 feet, they will not be able to use the sinks. It would be easy to buy one small stool for each one and put it under each sink. 3) Get a new coffee maker. The coffee maker did not work that well. These are relatively inexpensive and should be something you can count on. I recommend one with a thermos-style pot (more durable and keeps coffee warmer longer). 4) Get eight chairs for the dinning table. The description says it seats 6-8, which is true, but there are only 6 chairs. We pulled one from the front of the house and another from the porch. I think there should just be two extra chairs in the dinning room. 5) Get eight placemats. There are only 6 and they do not fit well. 6) Keep home stocked with papertowels. We ran out. 7) Get containers for recycling and for deposit cans/bottles. Also, you may want to put in your "welcome" note what can be recycled and what should be for deposits (we were from Chicago and almost forgot about this)

Nice renters - could also use some improvement. Coffee table had been written on with markers. New smart TV was loaded with smudge marks and fingerprints. Dining room table had lots of food crumbs and the floor as well. Lint guard in the dryer was full of lint and sand (not sure why any laundry was even necessary for a long weekend). In response: I do need an 8th dining chair - extra placemats were in the buffet in the dining room. New coffee maker is on my list (must have been OK since the pound of coffee I left was totally gone) . My house is nearly 100 years old. The hardwood floors creak (part of the charm). Floors are slanted in the living room going toward the kitchen ( have been here 23 years and not run into the wall yet). Never had an issue with shower guard from another renter, family member or friend, but will check it out. As for running out of paper products - it is not a hotel. I left at least 3 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom and 2 rolls of paper towels in the kitchen. Sorry my house did not meet your expectations.

Perfect mix of Grand Haven vintage charm with updated modern amenities. Love this house and loved sitting especially on the big front porch listening to the birds and a nice cool breeze.

We loved the Brophy House!! Best location and great bedrooms & brand new bathrooms & kitchen! We highly recommend it for any family vacation. The owner is super accommodating and always went the extra mile for us.

Great Grand Haven rental!

This house is charming and a wonderful vacation experience! Very clean and a short walk to downtown Grand Haven, which is filled with cute restaurants and shops. The beach was a short drive and beautiful. The property owner was very responsive and helpful in making sure our vacation was great. I would highly recommend!

Beach Town Seclusion

This was our second stay here. The house is very cozy and spacious. We spend a lot of time just relaxing in conversation on the front porch. The house is a short walk from the board-walk on the river, downtown life, but located on an isolated street with minimal traffic. Our host was always very responsive and helpful.

Great house!

My family and I stayed at this house in July 2019. The house was clean, well stocked with basic items, and in a quiet, yet still convenient, neighborhood. The house Is big with a great living area. The property owner provided all the info we needed to know ahead of the stay and when we arrived.

Great house for families

This place was great for my and my brother’s families. It is an updated historical home, with updated bathrooms, a very functional kitchen, and a great hang out area. It is perfectly located to walk downtown or to the beach, and is well appointed and stocked. We loved it. The only awkward tho g was the lack of a door on o e of the bedrooms, which has been noted by other reviewers. We handled it fine though and loved the house overall.

Great Grand Haven homebase

Our whole family really enjoyed this house and our stay in Grand Haven. We didn't realize that one of the bedrooms was only accessible from another and that there would be no door on one of the bedrooms, but the house was beautiful and we loved the old craftsman style. Easy walking to downtown and the harbor which turned out to be a huge bonus because parking was really tight over the weekend. The host was great and had coffee which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

I recently started sharing my home by the week during the summer months and for shorter stays throughout the year. The close proximity to downtown works great for me. I am sure you will enjoy all that Grand Haven has to offer. I want guests to feel at home, but on vacation!

I was looking for an older home with character. The original woodwork including French doors, leaded glass pocket doors, staircase and built in buffet in the dining room give the house a unique style.

There is a second kitchen upstairs that is not pictured as well as a small outside deck on the second level. The front porch provides a place for family and friends to gather. The short walk to downtown allows for easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping and more.
