Property deserved all the positive reviews it receives. One footnote: the listing includes a washer/dryer included with the cottage. There was no w/d during our stay. Could be a factor in a longer stay or are staying with a bunch of kids.

We had an amazing time at Pine Island lake. The home was beautiful and well appointed. The home was airy and you have an amazing view from every space. Whatever one needed it was right there. We are very thankful that we had such a wonderful experience.

Very welcoming cozy lake house. Everything we needed was easy to find. The surrounding lake and woods was beautiful and relaxing for us. Nancy, was very easy to contacted, when needed. Looking forward to coming back!

Perfect Western Mass vacation place

Charming home on Pine Island Lake, perfect for a weekend getaway, owner Nancy Bals was so accomodating, I would recommend to others from near and far!

Lovely stay with everything needed for cooking, kayaking, near hiking trails, and close to Northampton.

This is our third summer stay at Pine Island Lake. We always look forward to swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and just enjoying lake life. An improvement this year was an outdoor shower which was amazing!

Great Getaway

The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed and were impressed with the location. Very quiet and peaceful and wonderful views of the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Highly recommend the cabin.

We had a wonderful time at this absolutely beautiful home on the lake in Pine Island. The house was well appointed. Whatever we needed was right there. We are torn between keeping this perfect spot a secret and being completely honest.

Perfect lake stay

Pine Island lake is absolutely idyllic, and Nancy's place feels both cosy and spacious. We absolutely fell in love with both. We enjoyed swimming, canoeing and kayaking each day, taking in the beauty and peacefulness of this quiet lake.

Fantastic Location, Great Host!

Beautiful location and great house, as represented in the photos and description. The area is lovely with many areas for hiking - perfect in this COVID time. Nancy was great in answering questions quickly both before and during our stay. I hope to go back next year.

Wonderful home on a beautiful lake!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is right on the water with big windows giving wonderful views of the water. The location is fantastic, so many things to do in all directions. It was very clean and very comfortable. The host was very easy to work with. We would definitly stay here again.

Lovely stay by the lake

My family and I enjoyed our four-night stay at Nancy's lake house. The weather was lovely and the house was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast at Outlook Farm nearby every single morning! Would happily return to the area and Nancy's house in particular.

Perfect vacation

This was our fourth year staying at this beautiful lake house. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We had a good time fishing, swimming, & kayaking. It is so peaceful & relaxing at the lake house. We hope to come back again next year.
