Where do I start. The cottage was so cute and you felt like you were home the minute you walked in. I can't say enough about the host, laurel.What an amazing woman. I felt like she was a friend not just a host. All the amenities were great. You will not want for anything. The beds were comfortable slept like a baby. I will definitely stay here again next year.Thank you laurel for a great experience.

We have stayed in the cottage by the bay 3 times noe, because we love it so much. It is in the perfect location with a large lawn, quiet neighborhood, lots of places to walk, and a nearby park. Lots of wildlife. The cottage is so cozy and comfortable, with great furniture and beds. The hosts are the best in the business and ask you ahead of time what snacks and beverages to stock. Everything you need is there to make you feel at home. There are menus and maps and lots of brochures stocked there too. We will definitely be back to this home away from home.

This cottage is quite nice, within sight of the bay and only 5 minutes from downtown Oconto. The host is attentive, generous and a pleasure to work with.

This is a place you will return to, again and again. Our little family of four stayed here to celebrate our 11th anniversary. When we arrived, there were 'Happy Anniversary' signs, buttercream cupcakes, and a card to congratulate us! We had our favorite snacks and drinks waiting. There are so many small touches that touch your heart. ;) There is a beautiful trail that meanders through the woods with green velvet moss and so many varieties of mushrooms, trees and birds. If I packed a little snack, I could probably hang out back there for hours. Our family spent most of our time enjoying the big yard, the yard games in the shed and many family walks. We had smores (provided by Jo & Laurel) at the bonfire and my husband and I spent one night reminiscing under the stars, like when we met. We did a little jaunt to town, but it is the offseason and that was okay because we weren't here to shop. City Park is down the street from the cottage and it's a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful water views. We are already planning a return trip. I truly think any season would be wonderful here, the house and the land invite you to relax and return to being in the moment. And lastly, Laurel and Jo make it feel like you are visiting family you've never met before and they want your stay to feel special. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back for a longer one. Thank you, L & J 3 The Jamesons

Saw two sets of fawns and parents ..saw a family of turkeys, six young turkeys plus parents, saw three Sandhills cranes….and had a delightful stay ! Best equipped home I have stayed in ! Pat

Fabulous Place

Stayed at Bay Breeze for a weekend fishing trip and we were amazed by the cleanliness and amenities. I wish we had stayed longer.
