This property is stunningly beautiful. Quiet, peaceful, well kept. Our family loved spending a wonderful week here. Our host was superb. I’ve never had such good communication in such a timely manner from a host when planning multiple stays over the years. Woodstock is a very enjoyable spot. We hiked most days, and visited state parks during the stay. I highly recommend Fern Hollow if you’re looking for a rental in the area.

Private and beautiful setting! We were comfortable and enjoyed watching the autumn leaves fall from living room. Easy drive to downtown. Appreciated immediate response to questions from owner. Many rules and a required additional signed agreement seemed excessive.

So glad you enjoyed our secluded, private setting, close to downtown. Yes, we do ask for a separate Rental Agreement because our insurance policy requires it. As for rules, we do have some -- as do all Hosts -- but the majority of our Guest's have shared that they appreciated our clear communication style.

Charming house right outside Woodstock (7 minute drive) with a hot tub. Great for friends/family vacations. Well appointed. Surprisingly sharp kitchen knives! The stove/oven was very clean and new? Perfect for making big family dinners. The house is stocked with a ton of books, games, and puzzles offering something for everyone.The WiFi was decent, and I was able to take video calls while there. The backyard is fully fenced which was a nice surprise, we could let the dogs out! We didn’t see any dog waste anywhere, and we cleaned ours up also. The host Bill was very responsive and very helpful whenever I needed anything. This is a great family vacation home.

Beautiful, well-kept creekside property that surrounds you with complete serenity. The hot tub and pool are great features after hiking or exploring town. The home has everything you need and plenty of space for our group of 6. Bill was an exceptional host who communicates clearly and timely. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to relax and soak in nature

We are a family of 4 with older teens. We came to visit New York City but also get out to the countryside and this was a perfect place for our family to relax after all the sightseeing in the big city! We enjoyed each having our own rooms and bathrooms. Towels/bedding was nice and soft. We would hike/bike in the morning by trails 20-30minuntes away and then come back to the house. Our family enjoyed all the activities we could do at the house in the evening- swim, hot tub, sit by the steam, ping pong, read and relax. The kitchen was small but had all the supplies to cook meals. We appreciated the supplies and soaps in kitchen/bathrooms. If your looking to relax out of the city... this home was perfect! Thank you for our stay!

Place was great. Private yet close proximity to town. Perfect for our two families. Bill was accessible and responsive. We came in winter and would definitely consider coming back in the summer.

A spacious home with character and everything we needed. Deeply nested in the woods—quiet, beautiful, and great for hiking! Loved our stay. A couple miles from Woodstock, a quaint town with galleries, cafes, and good restaurants. Host Bill was amazing, responsive and so helpful. Highly recommended!!!

My girlfriends and I stayed in Bill’s beautiful home for the weekend. It had everything we needed, was clean, and the location to downtown was perfect. Bill was a gracious host and helped us out tremendously after items were left behind and we needed to go back for them! Would definitely return!!

Beautiful House, Great Amenities

The house is a beautiful example of mid century modern design in the vein of Wright's Usonian houses. The amenities are fantastic - we loved the heated pool!

This spacious, well-furnished house provides an excellent and comfortable base from which to discover Woodstock and nearby towns and hiking spots. The house is located in a lovely quiet area that is a short drive from downtown Woodstock.The check-in process went smoothly, and the owner was responsive and communications with him were easy.

Amazing, large artist-type retreat. Great for our family getaway and being dog friendly is a huge plus for us. Minutes from Woodstock and not far from other attractions made for easy entertainment.We didn’t use the fireplace or pool, but did use the hot tub and it was great.All together, we really enjoyed our stay and Bill was great answering my questions and helping out when we needed it.

Great family getaway for Thanksgiving

We loved our stay at this property - a classic "Woodstock" house with character and charm. For our family of 4, we all had our own space! Great piece of property and close proximity to town and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked for all cooking and baking needs.
