A perfect beach accommodation

Our 3-generation family of six had a delightful time. The kitchen was full-service and friendly. Even though it’s October, we needed a hit of A/C in the bedrooms at night, and the wall units efficiently took care of that. The beach was a relatively short walk away. We appreciated the beach toys, beach towels, wagon, boogie boards. The common area was great for Sunday lunch and kid play. We hope to return!

Great location that had to “grow” on us

Upon first arrival, we were very dismayed to find several surprises: 1) parking was very difficult. The one space we were alloted was very tight and made unpacking the car challenging. We also had two cars in our party so one of us had to find street parking, which was difficult to come by on the Saturday that we checked in, but got easier after the weekend. 2) Our unit was upstairs. We did not realize that our unit was up several stairs (not made clear in the description). This posed a problem for the physically challenged Grandpa in our group and loading and unloading a week's worth of groceries was exhausting. 3) I received a phone call at 2:50 pm on the day of arrival that our 4:00 check in time had to be moved back. We live about an hour away and our car was already loaded with perishables for our 5 day stay. We had planned to leave our house at 3:00 pm. We left at 4:15 pm and arrived to the unit at 5:15 pm to find that it still was not ready. We began unloading our car and deposited things on the outdoor deck while the cleaning staff finished up. We were able to get into the unit at 5:30 pm. On the upside, one of the cleaning crew took pity on Grandpa and carried some heavy items up for us. Once we got over the disappointment of finding some things different than expected, we highly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and our party of 4 adults and 2 children had plenty of room. The outdoor courtyard is fantastic!

Great Condo in Carlsbad, by the beach and great firepit!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. 1. Location was amazing. 1 block to the great beach. We enjoyed volleyball and running on the paved path that runs along the beach. Easy 5 block rock to the villages many restaurnts even closer. Town has everything from fine dining to beach tacos. The three bedrooms were great. We had two couples and 2 children. Pleanty of room to spread out and an extra bed is available if needed Sand toys, boogie boards, and chairs were great. The shared firepit and grill area was very large and well maintained. I will rent here again on our next stay and you should too!

Perfect for a Family Vacation!

Fabulous location across from the beach and within walking distance to Carlsbad Village! We loved the outside courtyard with fire pit, grills with plenty of seating, umbrellas and space. Very comfortable beds and furniture; provide plenty of kitchen ware, towels and other amenities as well as all you need for the beach

Great stay in a great location

We were very happy with our stay. The unit was very well-appointed and very clean. We were across the street from the beach and within walking distance to Carlsbad Village and all its offerings. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Another fantastic stay at the best condo in Carlsbad

We come to Carlsbad every summer, and we’ve stayed in many different homes. We keep coming back to Sean and Lily’s because it’s just the best. Newer, clean, well-stocked, great location a couple of blocks from the beach. This is just the best place to stay!

Nice Beach GetAway

Enjoyed the umbrellas, boogie boards, and beach chairs provided. Didn’t need to pack much. Property was clean with all the comforts of home. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Close to everything and clean

Love the second story private balcony. Bedrooms were large with 2 ling beds and one room with twin beds. Laundry room easily accessible. Close to the beach and Carlsbad Blvd. Parking was tight. Glad we brought the car, don't think we could have gotten the truck to the spot. Great open kitchen, dining, living space. TVs in Kong bedrooms with direct TV. Didn't use the TV in the living room. Beacj wagon was great. Chairs pretty worn but they did the job. Highly recommend.

We loved it!

My siblings and I had a great stay at this location. The place was well equipt and the location was perfect for walking everywhere. Dini's restaurant right on the corner was our favorite eats. When I booked I was confused as I had set my search to "homes". There were no pictures of the place from the street. So, I was a little surprised that it is an apartment. But it is big, well furnished and has a nice patio that we used a lot. So, I was not disappointed. I would book this location again.

Perfect Place for Family!!

Definitely found our “place” in Carlsbad! We stayed in the 3-bed unit as a family of 5 (husband and myself, and kids aged 7, 5, and 2). The condo is half a block to the beach, and a 5-10 minute walk to Carlsbad Village Avenue and many shops and restaurants. We were instantly impressed when we arrived, as were the friends we were visiting. There is a very comfortable sectional and large TV to watch, plenty of seating around a large table plus 4 stools at the peninsula. The kitchen was well-equipped with ample dishware, silverware, and all the cookware needed to even cook an Easter dinner! The unit was supplied with dish soap, sponges, and pods for the dishwasher. The 3 bedrooms each had very comfortable beds (I mean VERY comfortable!), ample, fluffy pillows, and appropriate bedding (still chilly at night, so the extra blanket and comforter were much appreciated). The 2 bathrooms each had good space and amenities, including plenty of towels (extras in the hall closet), toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The shower heads were a little strong, but it was fine. The complex has 2 sets of shared washer and dryer, for which I bought my own detergent and dryer sheets, and rarely did I have a situation where we had to wait to use them. There was some detergent there, but we preferred to get our own, and could tell others used it as well (I don’t mind sharing! I certainly wasn’t going to bring it home!). There were plenty of beach towels, but since it was still a bit too cold for the beach, we didn’t utilize anything else. There was covered parking for 1 vehicle, but the driveway and parking spaces were a little tight for our van, but better than finding parking on the street! Only “complaint” I have is that it was a little musty in the back by the bathrooms, causing the master closet to be musty, and we constantly had to leave windows and doors open to circulate the air. I had requested a pack n play, which was in the master closet, but when I opened it up, it smelled so musty I chose to not use it. Also, I would suggest having a broom, Swiffer, or small sweeper/vacuum to do some tidying. Being a beach town, it is difficult to avoid bringing in sand, as well I often like to clean up any messes since I have 3 small children, and had to resort to wiping up much of the floors by hand. Otherwise was an amazing place, and I would definitely stay here again!
