Dear Caitlin, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay, which it is very unusual, given the high review rates of my property. My housekeeper took pictures of every room before your arrival, and the house was extremely clean. I took pictures of pool and hot tub after you left and the water was crystal clear and the heater was working. Your complaint about mold smell is very subjective, as you should be able to provide pictures of mold somewhere. I am allergic to mold, so I find it really hard to believe, especially as mold is visible as well, and I have no signs of mold anywhere. The dog poop in the yard, is it possible it was from your dog? Washing machine was working fine when I returned. Maybe you just didn't press the correct button? Wi-Fi not working was due to you disconnecting the router to plug in a fan. It is impossible for the Wi-Fi to work without the router being plugged in. I would like to address every complaint you posted here, but there are so many, and they are so untrue and over the top that I will let the other reviews speak for themselves. I have pest control for roaches, everything was super clean and I have pictures to show, including pool and hot tub. The only true statement you had was that yes we do have a daycare as our back neighbor, which is opened during the weekdays. You can hear kids giggling if you are in the backyard but I never hear anything if you are inside the house. It never really bothered me. But if you are repulsed by children's laughter and the sound of innocent happiness, and the occasional sound of teachers keeping everyone in line, maybe this is not the place for you. Jean, The contract, which you signed, is also published on VRBO. Those same rules and regulations are specified under the property description. When you make your reservation you agreed to all the rules, such as the maximum number of people allowed in the property (9 people), that I do not accept parties, and to be respectful to my neighbors. Unfortunately for me and my neighbors, you broke all the rules. You parked your car on my neighbor's driveway, blocking it. I did try to warn you to move your car so that it would not get towed, as that was what the neighbors was about to do rightfully so. I had several neighbors texting me about your group being extremely loud at 4am, about the large number of people in and out, cars blocking street and driveway. I have rented my house to many people and never once had my neighbors complain. You are right about one thing, if you are planning to do a party, or have more than 9 people at the house, and be disrespectful to my neighbors waking them up at 4am, this is definitely NOT the house for you.

It is a pet friendly house, and that is disclosed on the property description. We use all cleaning products and resources available to neutralize any pet trace after every stay. We have never had any complains as we make sure the house keeper cleans really well before and after each stay. That said, I appreciate the criticism and will use this opportunity to try to do a better job at neutralizing any pet smell. I do understand that $25 seems a lot for one glass, but unfortunately we need to buy a set, as we can’t have un-matching glasses for a rental. You cannot find a set of glasses for less than $25. I am glad you had the insurance and did not have to pay for this. Hope you understand the reason now. Thanks for your stay.
